We came to the area to watch some college hockey and treated ourselves to a B & B instead of another hotel. Wow! Beautiful property with amazing hosts. Enjoyed the lighthouse history, walk on the beach, the cold fresh air off the lake and great...More

Lighthouse owners Mary and Bill were the nicest and most hospitable people you would ever want to meet. They welcomed us into their home like we were family. The breakfasts Mary made were a buffet of goodness and the nightly desserts were heavenly. Mary entertained...More

We loved our stay! Mary and Bill could not have been more charming, helpful and entertaining--artists on so many levels. Mary is an accomplished pianist and fantastic cook; Bill, a celebrated photographer and craftsman. Their passion for their lighthouse is contagious in their recitation of...More

One more visit...so maybe it's our 40th time...something like that...I've lost count but that's close. Why? Charm. Warmth. Innkeepers who are kind and definitely guilty of being passionate about this place they have chosen to share with, quite literally, the world. Enough to see and...More

I know this is probably wishful thinking but have to ask. Are small dogs allowed?

Hmmm. Not positive - but they don't allow children and I saw no pets when we were there. You could phone their land line and ask. They don't do email or website. I can't picture them allowing a pet, but you never know.

We have stayed there in the past, as a couple. (Conrad & Carol DeVries). Can't remember how many rooms you have. Our 60 Anniversary is in July 2016. Do you have 5 rooms available on a Friday night, two persons per room?

Hi Conrad and Carol- You'll want to call Mary and Bill at (906) 337-1744 for a reservation for your particular dates. If I remember correctly, they have rooms to accommodate 8 couples. Sherry
