We enjoyed the hotel it is beautiful, quiet and cozy. We appreciate the careful attention of the owner. Confortable and amazing beds, impecable cleanliness , wifi works even in old rooms. We were very pleacent with everything. The 10 minutes walk to the central park are worth it considering the quality of the price and service given. We will come back soon!!

I love Villa Serena. Every item in this place has been carefully selected and placed with utmost care by the owner who has traveled around the world to make this place the beauty it is. The facilities are great, the food, the view, the garden... I shall come back <3

We were very pleased to find this classic Guatemalan home, over 250 years old, converted to a B & B. We were greeted by the owner, Marina, who was so well acquainted with Antigua that she was a veritable wealth of knowledge of local attractions, restaurants and interesting facts about the area. Everything she suggested we either did or dined...

We only spent one night here & loved the decor & the rooftop patio. It was a 10-15 minute walk from the central park but seemed safe. The staff was very accomodating & breakfast was pleasant in the courtyard. A good value. I gave it only a 4* because we did not have hot water.

Marena is the owner and she took such great care of me and my friends, one of which had to be hospitalized. Marena drove me in her car to see my friend. The rooms at so unique and...

This authentic Guatemalan bed and breakfast is run by the most amazing woman. Her staff is great, the rooms are very quaint, and they even have free WIFI (which for me is a necessity when traveling overseas). Marina, the woman who owns the place, is just fabulous. She has been more places and seen more things than most. Take a...

My husband and I stayed here for three nights during our trip to Guatemala. The BNB is located on the edge of main city, so it's quiet and separated from the noise and pollution of the main areas. It's still close enough to walk to town, though. The host, Mariana, is absolutely lovely and speaks English fluently if speaking Spanish...

We stayed several nights here on a recent trip to Antigua. It was a very nice small BNB in a quiet, pretty neighbourhood. Easy walk to town, convenient location. Good wifi, comfortable beds. Lots of plants. The owner Mariana was extremely helpful with tourist information and kindly arranged for a doctor to do a house call when I had a...

My adult son and I visited Antigua for 10 days. La Villa Serena is beautiful; we had a view of 3 volcanos from the rooftop as well as sunrise and sunset. Marina, the owner, knows Antigua exceptionally well and will make sure she assists you with whatever you require to complete your trip. She helped arrange drivers to various sites,...
