We made a last minute decision to visit Antigua and were so fortunate to have found a room at the Hotel Cirilo. What a true gem. Beautiful, comfortable room, gorgeous garden and museum quality art. Just outside the center of town so very quiet and peaceful. Still a short walk to everything. Small property so very personalized attention. One morning,...

Spent five nights at this small hotel. The place is glorious, made from a ruin. The rooms are huge and the bed comfortable. The linens could've been updated though as a suggestion. The staff are friendly, the complimentary breakfast wonderful. Solid wifi throughout which is helpful. The hotel is just inside the center of colonial Antigua and a decent walk...

Was in Antigua Guatemala for family reasons and for a second year decided to stay at Cirilo Hotel. Once again I was not disappointed, the service provided from Mr. Recinos and Oscar and all the staff were the perfect complement to the peaceful gardens and grounds amidst the colonial backdrop of the property. Cirilo is no doubts one of the...

Beautiful, comfortable rooms, GREAT meals, beautiful gardens. Oscar and his staff go out of their away to make you feel at home. From the time to get in the door to check-in to the time you leave, each detail of our stay was taken care of with a personal touch. The food selections are numerous and very well prepared. There...

The Hotel Cirilo is a quaint property with exquisite quiet and peacefulness. The beautiful courtyard and gardens are brilliant, and lend a tangible feeling of Antigua's colonial past. The furnishings and fixtures are well appointed, creating an ambiance of sophisticated, rustic, traditional Guatemala. The rates were extremely reasonable. Rooms were very large, and the fireplaces and interiors further envelop and...

Stunning setting and gorgeous, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was delicious (particularly the banana bread) and the staff could not have been more helpful, be it providing advice and information, booking taxis and even providing a picnic breakfast (including banana bread!) for our 4am departure.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Cirilio in Antigua for 5 days in April 2016, and we absolutely loved it. The hotel itself is charming, with only seven rooms carved out of the ruins of a 17th century Spanish monastery. The ruins make for a great setting. The rooms are well appointed, clean and spacious. We had a fireplace...

I booked this hotel based on tripadvisor reviews and was not disappointed. The place is small, secluded and really elegant and tranquil. The staff are amazing and helped us with everything. The pictures online actually don't do it justice as its a lot more beautiful in real life.

Antigua was the first stop on our trip to Guatemala. I found Hotel Cirilo on Tripadvisor and just fell in the love with the pictures. Anytime I had any questions for the hotel the response was almost immediate. They arranged a hotel transfer who was standing right at the door when we walked out of the airport. When we arrived...
