This was our third visit to Antigua and each time we have stayed at Chez Daniel. Every time we visit it is like coming home. We feel it is an amazing value. The rooms are large and comfortable. The included breakfast and availability of the kitchen are definitely an added benefit. We also really like the owners and the staff....

The rooms here are much bigger than what we were expecting for a b&b! Everything is clean, beautiful and the beds are so comfortable, seriously. Veronica was always extremely kind and helpful, and we discovered a delicious mango jam through the breakfast they provided :) It is a little harder to find as it seems to be in a residential...

Don't let the unassuming frontage of this b & b put you off. Behind this front door, you will find one of the most charming places to stay. A beautifully laid out, peaceful garden with tropical plants and regular visits from humming birds. Placed around the garden are 2 of the 4 bedrooms and the breakfast area which houses some...

Our landlord was doing a noisy renovation, so I requested a short stay at Chez Daniel, my favorite place to stay in Guatemala. It's so peaceful, spacious and clean. The property is beautifully landscaped and has a view of volcano Acatanango. Daniel and Maria Elena are the perfect B&B hosts. They are eager to assist with information, and yet give...

I LOVED Chez Daniel! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Our room (4) was really spacious and comfortable, with a great view of volcano. Breakfast was great, fresh warm bread, fruit and eggs. Veronica was fantastic. So helpful and friendly. She went the extra mile to help us with everything. We met Daniel too who was...

Antigua is a sophisticated and European feeling city, though can be hectic and, compared to the rest of Guatemala, expensive. This affordable, elegant place is an easy walk from town and such a great value. From its delightful staff, helpful discussion of the city map, and beautiful property to its clean, large rooms and wonderful breakfast it is a place...

Amazing accommodations. Clean, spacious, breakfast included fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, great coffee, and select breads. Daniel (owner) also came and visited with us during breakfast. Veronica was helpful and a perfect employee. Definitely would recommend.

My husband and I spent a few days in Antigua after sailing in Belize for a few months. We enjoyed Chez Daniel very much. Daniel helped put together a list of the historic places we "must" see and marked them all down on a map. All of the sites were within walking range of our hotel. Our room was very...
