Muchísimas gracias! Claudia was fantastic at the front desk. She was very helpful and pleasant. The grounds are great for sitting and enjoying a coffee before walking the city. We went at the right time of year to have the window open and the room be a good temperature.
A very pretty place when you enter, but the beds were uncomfortable, and the bathroom was worn with cracked tiles. You could keep the room stuffy, or open the windows to noise in the corridor. Worth less than half what we paid.
Great Hotel for the price! Very clean, peaceful and safe. The staff was amazing. Everyone was very nice and helpful. This is a pet friendly hotel, I brought my puppies and they had a blast running around the beautiful garden and corridors. The one thing that I will say needs improvement is the food. I only had breakfast and it was by far the worse breakfast I’ve had in Antigua.
Always in my top two hotels when visiting Antigua. Clean spacious rooms and a very attentive staff. And great food! The restaurant is always welcoming with fresh food and great service. The hotel itself is beautiful with great views, nice pool and los more!
Great service and right next to downtown. Perfect place to stay for a few days. Rooftop deck has great views and security is walking the property frequently to ensure that every one is safe. Left our valuables in the room every day and had no theft issues either.
The staff was wonderful. Very service minded. Helped us get another room, ordered breakfast and a tour guide. We will definitely stay here again. The location is great to get all over Antigua. The roof top terrace was great for a social experience and to view the Volcano Fuego.
My boyfriend and I recently booked a trip through the Clymb with Old Town Outfitters for an 8 day trip in Antigua, Guatemala. We spent 5 of those nights at San Jorge. We found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. The hotel provided a delicious complementary breakfast each morning on the rooftop terrace which has spectacular views of the nearby volcanos. The staff was always accommodating and friendly, and the garden is breathtaking.
We liked this hotel alot. Right within walking distance to explore the city but on a quiet street. It had a beautiful courtyard. The staff was great. The place was clean and the beds comfortable. There are a group of hotels that allow you to use a pool at another location. That was a nice feature so we could spend a hot afternoon at a pool. The breakfast was great as well.
An outstanding budget-friendly accommodation. Rooms are basic, but the overall grounds and very beautiful, extremely peaceful and tranquil, and perfectly located to explore the marvelous city of Antigua by foot. I would gladly stay here again.
Stayed here for three nights while on a recent motorcycle tour of Guatemala. Rooms were clean, the grounds were pretty, staff was very helpful. It has a nice rooftop terrace to eat breakfast on and sit around at night with your friends drinking a beer.
