Hotel is situate in the center of Antigua and close to all the major attractions. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby including Ta'Cool Taco for lunch or Cafe Boheme for breakfast. Rooms were clean, spacious and the two rooftop terraces provide beautiful views of the volcanoes. For those with a vehicle, parking is available off-site for an additional charge.

Small hotel. Excellent customer service. Located only one block from the Park. Always clean and has terraces and garden areas. The staff is very accommodating and will help arrange tours, taxi service etc. They are bi- lingual as well.

I always stay here when in Antigua. Important feature for me - always has hot water!

Nice and affordable private rooms. Mentions high speed wifi in their website but doesn’t deliver in this front. Very comfortable beds. Free breakfast is unfortunately a 10 min walk away. Cute place and nice escape from hostels if u need more privacy for a good price!

Perfect location. Safe. Helpful. Friendly. Charming. Wonderful terrace with amazing views. The only negative is no air conditioning, but the windows open and the fan in the room worked surprisingly well! I would definitely stay here again.

I am always travelling so a good location, good service and a good shower is always appreciated. Casa Rusticas has them all plus a terrace to take sun, a pool table, a kitchen to cook what you want and internet access in the lobby.
Darril (the owner) really likes to help out people and he owns two casa rusticas. I recomend it!!! :)

I stayed at Casa Rustic for nearly a month and during my time, I was fortunate enough to experience true guatemalan hospitality. The staff and the people are the main reason why i recommend the hotel. Now don´t get me wrong, my room was larger than I could expect and kept extremely clean by the friendly staff on a very regular basis. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bugs that plagued me at other latin american tourist locations were absent. Not to mention, this place has WIFI!!!!!! accessibility in every room. but as I mentioned before, the owner, staff and other residences were the best part of my stay. Daryl, a soft-spoken laid back southerner, was more than helpful in providing helpful info about the city and giving me an extremely reasonable rate for my room. The staff were a blast and I enjoyed several hours chatting away or eating meals with them. Lastly, the Casa Rustica does not attract your usual backpacker tourist. Instead, its residence are eclectic and diverse in background.

I fully recommend Casa Rustica and encourage individuals with open minds and adventurous spirits to find authentic experiences within its walls.

I spent eight nights at this hotel and couldn't have asked for a better introduction to Antigua.

The hotel is very new and very clean. It really has more of a "hostel" feel to it, which makes for a fantastic opportunity to meet travellers from all over the world, most of whom are in Antigua to study Spanish. The rooms are simple ... but if you request room 4, you'll get a massive tiled bathroom to yourself!

Darryl (the owner) and Angelica are fabulous hosts, and always ready to help with any questions ... or your Spanish.

We stayed here for 10 days and had a great experience. It was very safe and in a terrific location. Some of the rooms were a little small, but you had everything you could possibly need. The staff was all very pleasant and the owner Darryl was a tremendous help. He was able to provide of with lots of helpful information on places in and around Antigua that allowed us to make the most of our time while in Guatemala. I would recommend Hotel Casa Rustica because it offers great amenities at a great price.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Casa Rustica and thought it was great! We booked a double room with a shared bathroom and we got a room that had 1 double bed and 2 twin beds (it was a really good size). It also opened up to a terrace, which was really nice. It was a really clean hostel (yes, it's definitely a hostel) and has an excellent location!!! It's SO close to the center of town and a quick walk to the market. Everyone at the hostel was very friendly and helpful. The only downside for us was that we arrived VERY tired on a Saturday and they had live music that night playing down below while we were trying to sleep. But if you enjoy the live music, I'm sure you won't mind! Definitely would stay there again...
