The Radisson Blu Resort & Spa in Split offers a stylish and lively atmosphere, with the spa and breakfast often earning high marks from guests. While the hotel's location garners mixed opinions, with its beach proximity praised by some but others noting distance from central attractions, the amenities are a highlight for many. However, concerns are raised over room cleanliness, noise, and decor, and service reviews are polarized, with instances of both commendable staff interactions and disappointing service encounters. Travelers also question the value, citing overpriced rooms and costly dining options.

Arrival Experience:
We had a pleasant arrival, reaching the hotel earlier than expected. The staff graciously stored our bags, allowing us to enjoy a leisurely walk to the nearby beach club. The beach club offers a variety of seating options, including complimentary sun loungers and the choice to rent a cabana or a lounger in the club area. The atmosphere is lively, with music provided by DJs and live singers. In the complimentary lounger area, the food and beverage service is prompt, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Note: If you have sensitive feet, take beach shoes as its pebbles

Room:
Our room was bright, fresh, and featured a very comfortable bed. We stayed in a sea-view room that included a lovely balcony, perfect for enjoying the scenery.

Parking:
For guests driving in, there is a large parking area available, though we did not check the pricing.

Breakfast and Dining:
Breakfast was a good served in a spacious and well-appointed restaurant.

Pool and Spa Facilities:
The hotel boasts both outdoor and indoor pool areas. The indoor pool, located near the spa, features a jacuzzi, as well as a quiet area with a sauna, steam room, and cold pools. These amenities make it an ideal place to relax, especially if you have a late flight and need to check out early.

Overall:
Our stay was delightful, and we look forward to returning.

Excellent 4 days stay for family of six as part of 2 great weeks around Split.
Hotel is a short spin from airport and they arranged transfers which worked well. We arrived late (after 11pm) so check in was with night crew with no help with luggage. One of rooms was missing a bed which took a bit of time to sort as no housekeeping available but no big deal.
Hotel facilities are excellent - very nice suite rooms with large balcony. The open bathrooms take a bit of getting used to, but the internal curtails help - rooms a great size and very new with great A/C. Breakfast is superb choice and service, as was the bar in the evening - nice singers each night. Indoor spa area very good, as is beach club. We took a 6 person suite at beach and well worth it for great food, wine and cocktails all day.
One minor point was very slow to restock water, soap, coffee in rooms, which was disappointing given almost €900 per room per night.
Overall a very enjoyable experience but just a few gaps in service versus the very high price.

My daughter and I have spend some of the best 8 days here at the Radisson Blu in Split and the experience has been amazing.
David Mohren has set such an excellence standard for hospitality right down to the details. He engages his staff to build their skills and encourages organic team building initiatives on every level.
We have seen that same mind set with Renata and Andrei as they assisted staff and anticipated the guests needs.

Renata made sure that absolutely everything was perfect for our stay and we did not have to worry about anything. She helped us navigate the city and country, giving us advice as we needed.

Ivan and Ana at the front desk were exceptionally helpful with our questions and amenities.

Slava and Stojana were some of the most thorough housekeepers we have had.
They also kept note of the things we particularly liked in our room and kept it fully stocked.
We want to particularly thank Nikolina who did our laundry service and made sure all our specialty clothes were taken care of.

The Door restaurant and bar was for our afternoon break, Antonio and Katarina were exceptional with our cocktails... thank you for introducing us to cherry Rakia and the Hugo 75!

We also want to thank Pero, BoĹľo and Sanda for the behind the scenes work that they did in the kitchen for our special requests!

We travel internationally and this particular Radisson Blu is safe and secure for travelers. It is also impeccably clean and has the capacity to host business conventions and large groups.

The leadership in this hotel sets an example of excellence and and atmosphere of service that I rarely see.

Thank you so much for making this our home while we enjoyed exploring your country. The peace and quiet in an exotic setting is completely worth coming back again and again.

Despite the hotel being busy, they are closing up around us as we speak. The beach is shut, the pool is shut, they have taken away all sunbeds and put ropes up around the pool. staff are saying we should use the spa, Who wants to be in a spa when it is 23° outside and you have flown here.
Lots of people coming to the pool looking confused, lots not happy! 1 chap has tried to complain 3 times to no avail.

Rooms aren’t being cleaned, no shuttle services into town, tried to complain several times no one answers the phone, no manager not around.

Either the hotel is shut or open, you can’t expect to pay a premium price for few facilities.

Dear Guests, As mentioned in our earlier conversation, our outdoor amenities are closed due to the end of the summer season. Please feel free to reach out to me at the reception for further information or assistance. We will provide you with everything needed for a pleasant stay with us. Even though Mistral Beach Club is closed, and information about it has been communicated transparently, that doesn’t mean you cannot sunbathe on the beach, which is a public area. You also mentioned some other issues you are dealing with; please contact us at your earliest convenience so we can assist you with anything you need. We remain at your disposal. Kind regards, Renata Guest Relations Manager

The room was very tired, the shower and bathroom were full of mould, and full of irritating noises. We booked a city view room at vast expense, result of gouging in the summer months, and had a view of a rocky rooftop. We asked a staff member to tidy up a table at the pool bar, so we could sit in the sun, and were told it was for someone else to do. Hotel food and drinks 30%+ more than outside the hotel, quality was not great. We received an apology from the front desk staff after paying our extras, that was it! The only saving grace were the porters who were very curteous and helpfull. If you can avoid this hotel, my advice is to do so!

This hotel isn’t 5 star..

From the terrible service to the mediocre room to the hospitality.

The service at this hotel is non existent.. staff miserable not willing to help or put a smile on their face to make your experience worthwhile. The hotel is understaffed, 1 person working the pool bar, some days 2 if you’re lucky, no service poolside only at the bar, plates empty drinks lying until you ask for them to be taken away. 2 occasions I asked the reception for fresh bottles of water to which he replied “just drink the tap water it’s fine” I had to go down to reception and collect myself.

The food and drink at the pool/bar is well below average for what you’re paying. The cocktails were watery and not enjoyable.

Breakfast had great selection!

The room itself isn’t 5 star, well below par. The bathroom and wet room is tired.

They don’t show the ruins of graffiti riddled unfinished shell of a hotel next door on booking.com when you are booking but it’s a terrible eyesore when you open the balcony doors or sitting by the pool.

The lobby area, spa and other communal areas are modern and lovely but this wasn’t enough to make me want to come back.

So, if I were to rate the hotel based on the comfort, style and location I would have given it a 4.
If I were to rate on service and facilities it would be a 3. The only thing missing was a on location shop to buy any essentials and also after 11:30 there is nowhere to have a drink or to even get room service which was a surprise. So if you arrive late or fancy having a drink after a night out that’s not happening here. Also there isn’t really much within a walking distance either.
However the reason for the very poor overall score was due to safety. Whilst staying here for business, an over night staff member was very inappropriate with a female colleague of mine and she felt very threatened whilst in her room alone. This was reported to the hotel manager who took immediate and very decisive action and was very supportive. However I am worried that the hotel was able to employ a staff member with this behaviour and whether the appropriate background checks take place. It’s a shame this happened as the hotel was very nice to stay at.

Very good quality for the price. At each point in our stay I was delight by the hotel. Breakfast was continental and had a crepe station! Spa relaxation area was clean and generously sized. Treatments were reasonably priced, spa hosts were very polite and though with during the treatments. I had lifting facial and techniques were comparable to FaceGym. Beach bar was a short walk away if you enjoy the sea swimming so really this hotel had options for all. Room was large and had a sea view, with mini fridge and all the usual amenities, the one service team were always on hand and cleaned the room in the morning and offered turn down service when requested. Location was 10 minutes from old town and 25 minutes from airport by car (Uber and bolt had great availability at all times, even with the early boat tour starts 7am).

This isn’t 5* as it claims to be. Beautiful reception, lovely buffet breakfast and that’s all. The view from restaurant of the Adriatic Sea is lovely. The rooms are basic, we were facing a very big construction site! The beach isn’t a beach, it’s a really big construction both sides of the hotel. the professional photos of the hotel are deceiving. The indoor swimming pool is freezing! And the drinks at the restaurant bar are extortionate!! Coke is 5 euros and a standard cocktail at 18 euros!

The hotel is designed for corporate events, it really isn’t a holiday hotel.

Regarding housekeeping, nothing is cleaned. Only toilet paper is topped up. The tv has 50 channels, with 3 English, 2 of which are news. It was a day with thunderstorms so we decided to use the hotel facilities. Spa got fully booked very quickly.

Staff are very polite.

Don’t use the local taxis., first day we used the local taxis to old town, cost 40 euro!, next day we used a Uber cost us 3 euro!

This was a 40th bday booking, feel it was justified for what we paid for.

Dear guests, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We truly appreciate your positive remarks about different aspects of our hotel. However, we are sorry to hear that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. We offer several room categories to cater to different preferences, and we regret that your room did not fulfil your needs. Unfortunately, the construction nearby is beyond our control as it is managed by third parties and approved by local authorities. The area is undergoing development to become a prime location with many amenities and attractions, and while this transformation is underway, we understand it can be inconvenient. During the high season, heavy construction work is halted, which helps reduce the disruption for our guests. Regarding our pricing, we follow market demands and industry standards to ensure we maintain a high level of service and quality. We apologize if the cleaning service did not meet our usual standards. Our policy is to provide daily cleaning, and we regret any oversight in your case. If you had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on your doors, omission could have happened because of it, but please let us know so we can improve our service promptly. Additionally, if you faced any technical difficulties with the TV, our team is always available to assist. We understand your frustration with the local taxi prices. We recommend using services like Uber to avoid overcharging, and we try advise as many of our guests as possible – unfortunately this is a dark side of tourism. Thank you again for bringing all the issues to our attention. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with a more enjoyable experience. If you would like to discuss your stay further, please feel free to reach out directly. Your feedback is valuable, and we remain committed to exceeding your expectations in the future. Stayed here for five nights and the hotel is great and the staff are helpful .
The breakfasts are buffet style with a great selection everything you would want set in a great location overlooking the sea.
The room bar was great also for lunch although limited menu.
The evening resteraunt is a bit patchy with a limited menu and the menu never changed during our stay and it’s a bit pricey but a great location to dine and watch the sun go down, one night we had to wait a while for our main course despite being told it was in its way.

The resteraunt has entertainment provided by a DJ , one night the music was chic and modern another night it was pretty poor with the DJ playing jazz songs and old b sides from the 30s and 40s which really wasn’t appropriate for the clientele.

The bedroom was with a sea view which over looked the pool which had a nice view, the room was comfortable but pillows were very soft.
Shower was ok in a walk in style but the cosmetics were branded and basically smelt nice but would not foam up so not great.
Taxis wait outside the hotel but are far more expensive than an Uber which we eventually used a few times with one Uber driver charging 30 kuna into Split which is about ÂŁ4 as opposed to a lot more in a taxi .
One tip I would mention when in split, there is a one way system so if you get a taxi from the hotel they will drop you off on the east side by the palace and market, if you walk to the other side of the town along the front and get a taxi from there it’s far more expensive as they have to get back to the hotel a longer way, past the football ground so be aware , we got well ripped off by one taxi about £35 , his explanation when challenged was it was a longer route.

The hotel has a beach bar which is pleasant and allows you to relax next to the sea which is a nice feature, there are also other beach bars that provide meals also but basically burgers and pizza

We used the spa which has an indoor pool, jacuzzi ,sauna and steam room which are all free to use which was vey good, although the pool was a bit cold as was the pool outside.
We walked to Split along the path that follows the sea and it took us about 40 minutes and was nice to do as it takes you though several local beaches it can be a challenge in the heat so make sure you have a hat.
The fact that the hotel is outside Split is nice as it’s quiet
In summary a very nice hotel to stay at, a few niggly things but overall very good , would stay again

My husband has a sore back too - the ones around the pool didn’t have extra soft covers but they were comfortable. You could take a cover off the ones around the indoor pool as they were thick and removable. The staff are really friendly and helpful and they wouldn’t mind if you did that.
