Received the best care for the duration of my stay. Elegant yet very comfortable room. All the bedding, towels, etc smelled extremely clean and pleasant (nice surprise after some of the countries I have visited). Excellent service in the restaurant, with a fabulous breakfast spread that included rare treats of caviar, freshly squeezed juices, and a nice variety of European,...

I went to Split for a little relaxation and booked six nights at Hotel Park. What a gem! The service is impeccable. The facilities luxurious. I had some great spa treatments and wonderful meals. This is a place you will want to come back to again and again!

Hotel looks absolutely fantastic, since it has been recently refurbished the attention to details is visible. Had a nice dinner, fresh fish with a pianist playing on the terrace. Great atmosphere! The room was nice, comfortable with sheets from, what i've been told, egyptian cotton. I would recommend this, almost a 100 year old hotel, to everyone.

Note that this hotel just renovated back in June 2015, so reviews before and even shortly thereafter probably don't apply. The hotel room was very nicely appointed, and obviously, had just been fully renovated. The view was nice, but the service and the appointments in the public areas were the most impressive elements about this hotel. The front desk people,...

The hotel itself is quite lovely, having recently undergone a renovation. However, we felt that there were some issues, particularly given the price. We were made to wait a rather long time to check in -- both receptionists and the concierge were engaged with another customer, ordering 2 taxis -- despite the fact that we were absolutely bedraggled from our...

Beautiful renovation to Hotel Park. The rooms were very nice and decorated well. The service was great. Breakfast was included in the rate and had a wide selection of options. The terrace is lovely at night and a great place to enjoy a drink after dinner. The only downside was that the pool was a bit small and often weren't...

Arrived early at the end of a two week sailing holiday around the Adriatic. We left the port and arrived at the hotel early. The receptionist informed us that our rooms were not ready but we could leave our bags with Concierge and use the hotel facilities. The level of service and standard of facilities in the hotel is fantastic....

My sons and I stayed here for three nights. The hotel had been open for four or five days when we arrived. The hotel is a beautiful building just off the beach. The just renovated interior is lovely, although I wonder how the light grey carpeting in the halls/stairs will hold up. The decor is very pretty and feels very...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Searching for an ideal spot in which to build his impressive palace, 1700 years ago the Roman emperor Diocletian decided to settle on the Adriatic Sea coast which is bathed in Mediterranean sunshine for 270 days a year. Today, the palace represents the historic center of the city of Split and is under the protection of UNESCO. In the course of the centuries from the construction of the palace until today, numerous statesmen and aristocrats, distinguished businessmen and politicians, the elite of the European cultural scene, as well as a number of popular movie and sports stars have been coming to Split for a royal treatment. Since 1921, Park Hotel has been the only prestigious hotel in this part of the Mediterranean to provide such impeccable service and elegant ambiance within the stone walls of its sophisticated establishment. In 2015, Park Hotel, the crown jewel of the hotel industry of the city and the region, was fully renovated and refurbished, once again paving the road for new and even higher standards of supreme and unique hotel services. Its characteristic aesthetic values have been preserved, highlighted by the refined Art Deco style interior of the restaurant, lobby, winter garden and 72 rooms, which feature discreet elements of modern technology. The elegant charm of the hotel is further accentuated by a professional and discreet service provided by the hotel staff. Park Hotel is a story which you want to experience. At least once in your life. ... more   less
