Two couple from the US stayed in this wonderful hotel 2 nights during our stay in Split. The location was within the walls of Diocletian’s Palace. The entire hotel staff including the hotel owner was always present…and helpful. The entrance to the hotel opened right into a beautiful courtyard/ square. The breakfast, which was included in our rate was off of a menu and served by a waiter. Even though the hotel did not have an elevator, the staff was there to carry any bags that we had. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent and served on the open air courtyard. We LOVED every moment- it was sad to leave our new found friends.

A small and cozy hotel located in a great location and some rooms have a beautiful view of the Old Town Square, the Silver Gate and the palace and the church. The hotel is right inside the Old Town Square and is connected to the Old City walls. The personal treatment I received in the emails before I arrived and also at the time of my arrival was more than expected they helped me with everything I needed in a courteous and patient manner and helped me find more beautiful places to see in and around the city. The hotel does not have an elevator and I knew it but to get such a view and a winning location it was worth going up 3 floors of stairs. The rooms are air conditioned and decorated in a warm home style, breakfast is a la carte, bring a menu you choose what you want to eat because of the corn virus, was great, they also have a restaurant in the hotel that looks good but does not work because of the situation ... I have no bad word to say really was I have a very good experience from the hotel and the city of Split and recommend visiting it

Hotel Peristil is located within the walls of the Diacletian palace and next to the Silver Gate. It is a 12 room hotel and very handy to the cruise terminal with a ten minute walk. I used the hotel for a single night before boarding a Sail Croatia cruise and the place is very nice. The bed is just right for firmness after a long flight, the AC is cold, the shower refreshing, and bottle of water in the fridge welcoming.
The service is impeccable and I recommend the hotel for the ambiance and proximity to the sights.

The hotel was very expensive, 180 euros a night for an old fahion small room and a very basic breakfast, very little choice, and poor quality products. I was disapointed. The only good point is the good location.

The staff is very kind., and I felt this from the first moment when I was welcome at the reception and during the whole stay there. I forgot my earphones in the room and one of the clerks, Filipa, was very helpful and patient and, in the end, I got the earphones by post, The location is excellent, inside Diocletian's palace, next to all the main attractions in Split. The breakfast was OK. The room is rather small, but comfortable enough.

Beautiful hotel built right into Diocletian's palace in the center of Split. The Location doesn't get anymore central - the closest Sphynx is a 50 meter walk for the front door.
Staff is incredibly friendly and warm. They all speak amazing english, are born and breed locals, and went out of their way to provide excellent service and guide us on our vacation. They even provided transpo from the airport (not free but excellent). We'll stay here again! FYI - you're in a hot spot, so depending on your room, there will be noise from tourists downstairs late at night and early in the day.
Other things we did during our trip to Split:
1. Full Day Island Hopping (with swimming) Booze cruise on the Summer Blues (5 minute walk from Hotel). Good for families too - no one was wild, just enjoying the sun and the sea.
2. Day trip to Beach Club Hvar (Catamaran is also a 5 minute walk from Hotel)
3. Day trip to Plitvice Lakes
4. 5 star dinner every night for around €80 (incl. alcohol, 2 people)

The location is basically right on the Peristil Square so it can't be better. That is about where the good ends. This is maybe my fault that I booked a single room because it was my first time to do that and it was tiny. I could hear everything any of my neighbors did. Walls were very thin. Outside is a lovely patio for breakfast which wasn't too enjoyable as the bacon was raw and the eggs were burned. Salt and pepper shakers and olive oil holder on the table were filthy. Wanted to love it but didn't . Price was good though.

The hotel is located in the city center which is great if u plan to walk through the palace, everything is really close and reachable. The inside of the hotel is decorated really nicely and the rooms made me fell like i was back in time. During my stay i had brekfast every morning ( the breakfast is included in the price), even tho i yust had some eggs yogurt and bread it was realy nice, the staff team are wonderfull people that will help u with all of your requests and all of them speak english like its their nativ language. The hote also has a restaurant where i had lunch which was also amazing. If i ever come back to Splir i know where i will be staying and i recomend u check this place yourself, you wont regret it.

My husband and I were looking forward to revisiting Hotel Peristil for years, it did not disappoint. Our last visit was great, this one was even better! The staff are so friendly, it feels like you are home. The entire establishment has the highest level of cleanliness and is fully equipped with every thing you would need or want.
