I really like this hotel. I had room number 7 and the combination between the old style and the modern style was really great. The rooms have been very clean and the staff extremely friendly. Breakfast was also really great. I really can recommend this hotel to everybody. Please book in advance because the hotel is not very big.

This is a small boutique hotel in a fabulous location if you, like us, love ancient history. Our room backed on Diocletian Palace's Vestibul with which it shared an exposed wall in stone and roman brickwork. Staying here felt very special and was heightened by the Dalmatian a capella singers occasionally bursting into song in the echo chamber. The room...

Hotel Vestibul is ideally located for the old city. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and has large rooms and lovely personnel. Getting to the hotel is a challenge if you don't know where it is. We were lucky enough to have a driver, who walked us to the entrance. We stayed at the end of February 2017. The weather...

Stayed here for a few nights in August 2011 (I cannot select the year 2011 in TripAdvisor's app) as the last stop on our four-city tour in Croatia. It was small but comfortable. Staying in the walls of Diocletian's Palace was an interesting atmosphere. There are indoor and outdoor spots for breakfast dining. I would recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing stay at this boutique hotel tucked away inside Diocletian's Palace. The room was modern yet one of the walls was an original wall of the Palace. Luka and Lubo made our trip so special. We felt like we were with family; they were so accommodating and extremely welcoming. The location of this hotel couldn't be more...

Superb historical hotel! What a treat... once you find it! It's in the walled city so it's a little difficult to find however your patience will be well rewarded. The staff was super helpful and friendly.

We stayed for a short break in Split and we were absolutely delighted with this hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful and the modern conversion of the building with the roman remains conserved was up to the highest standard. The location could not be more central. Absolutely ideal.

We stayed in the Villa rather than the main hotel. However, we did have breakfast in the main hotel. Both are tiny and in the heart of the old city. Both are lovely. Nice room, small but comfortable, right in the palace. Staff very helpful and good-natured. Only caveat -- the "annex" building is rather far away, not in the palace, a long walk for breakfast. Fortunately, after the first night they were able to move us to the main building.
