Very cute little apartment up a steep-ish couple of flights of stairs, which is a bit awkward with larger suitcases. We organised a prepaid price to be picked up from the airport. The Dad collected us and told us some points of interest in excellent English, even though he said his English was limited. He left the key and said he would be back in a day to collect the cash for the airport pick up and to ensure we have provided the required passport documentation (which he did do the next day). Very simple apartment but with good air-conditioning, a separate bedroom with twin beds, a small kitchenette with table and chairs and small sofa. Minimal cooking with a dual hotplate but had a fridge which was helpful for cold drinks and to keep items for dinner/lunch. Shower/toilet was compact but hot water was never a problem and everything was fantastic. A very reasonably priced, clean and comfortable apartment in the old town. My only issue is that some of the nearby restaurants/or those below, start work early, so you can be woken by the sound of rubbish collection/business setting up for the day from around 6am and the same at closing time. I was certainly too tired at night for it to be a bother. You will also need to be able to ascend a fairly narrow set of stairs. I actually fell down a couple of stairs but that was my own fault. Very good communication with Drago who was very responsive. I would highly recommend this apartment, as it is in a great location. It is certainly in a good spot close to the Pile Gate, particularly if you intend to go on bus tours as it is close to the pick up point.

Very close to everything, especially the Pile Gate, which is convenient for transport & bus tours. The hotel was located in a small alley right in the Old Town. The room is quite big and comfortable. Lots of restaurants & shops around. The check-in was easy, as soon as we arrived at the door, a guy approached us and gave us the keys. He was also a tour agent next door. We booked a day tour through him, and it was great. The only downside is the steep stair climb with our luggage to the 3rd floor room, as there were no elevator.

A lovely little apartment right in the centre of the old town. Before we arrived the host got in touch to find out our arrival time. Buses delayed us and we were two hours later that anticipated. He was friendly and didn't seem to mind. The air con was good, really appreciated in the heat. The unit was in the kitchen space and did not quite reach to the bedroom area. It kept the room cool. The amenities were good. We had everything we needed for a couple of nights. We agreed to leave money and the key on the kitchen table when leaving. (We booked through booking.com which specified card payment at the property. The host clearly preferred cash and when we said that online it had said card he told us there was a 5% charge if this was done, increasing the cost. We said we'd pay cash and agreed to leave the money on the table when we left) When we returned to the apartment on the final night, we noticed that someone had been into the room to leave a reminder for payment. We felt this was quite intrusive of personal space and quite unnecessary. A note under or on the door would have been more appropriate. Overall a good stay

After a thoroughly unsatisfying apartment stay in Barcelona, Apartmani Lepur was a relief. Lovely, charming place down a side street near the Pire gate in Old Dubrovnik. It is spacious, well ventilated (with AC, though in early May wasn't needed) Large, well stocked bathroom, comfortable king bed, and a nice kitchen that actually had kitchen supplies, strong Wi-Fi. The only drawback is street noise (that stops with the closing of the restaurants, around 10) and the fact that the lowest room is still several flights up. Both of those are the case with most places in the Old Town, and by being there, you're right in the middle of all the restaurants and shops. Owner is available on call, and his friend Mate, who operates a tour agency next door, is usually available to help with any of your needs. A really delightful place to stay!

Location is perfect.. It is small walking distance from Pile gate. Just right down there, there are some good pizzeria and shops. It is not so noisy at night as it is not that close to main square or bars. The apartment looks new and clean. Very comfortable bed. Good wifi. It is a bit hard to carry luggage because we stayed at top floor (probably 3rd). The price can be a bit high (about EURO 100). I still feel this is reasonable price, though I am sure there are a lot of budgeted apartments, especially for outside the wall.

We spent one night, late June, at the Apartments Lepur in the Old City of Dubrovnik. Being a very short walk from the Pile Gate, the location is great, situated in a narrow street, amongst restaurants and shops. This resulted in some noise at night but after a very busy day walking the delightful streets of Dubrovnik, not much could disturb our sleep. We arrived too early but the owner had no problem with us leaving our luggage in the building, likewise at the end of our stay, we were able to leave it there until we left later in the day. The apartment was very clean and the kitchenette, even though we had no need for it, seemed well equipped with the basics.

Located in the heart of old town, you are close to everything from the Apartment Lepur. The apartment has been beautifully decorated with quality furnishings and accessories. Drago the owner is very welcoming and offers every help to ensure that you have a great stay. It was a pleasant experience staying at Apartment Lepur. For those who have problems in taking stairs, it may be a bit of challenge. Else a great place to stay with a very friendly and caretaking owner.

We only stayed one night, I booked the one bedroom apartement with two twin beds, which pushed together make a king bed. Paid 98 euro on booking .com. The beds where very comfortable and the apartment was a good size for being in an old building in the heart of old town. Great location. Apartment is on the fourth floor. Be prepared to lug your luggage up the stairs. But Drago helped. There was fresh towels provided and the shower had great pressure and spa jets. There was however no shampoo or soap provided, there was a hand soap container but it was empty. So bring your own. The shower water was hot at night but was cold in the morning, waited for a while and it still did not warm up. So cold shower was not fun. The Kitchen had few plates and pots but no kettle. You have to use a pot to boil water. Two good size mugs are provided. There are two nice size windows in apartment, one in bedroom other in kitchen. You can even hang some laundry out the window if you want there is a small clothes line. The only thing is the seating in the lounge/kitchen area it is small, a chair and small pull out seating. A double love seat would be better for two people to sit on. Drago was great, he meet us at the pile gate and showed us directly to the apartment. We had an early flight the next day so we paid him 25 euro to take us to the airport. Which was good value considering its about 25 minutes away. He showed up promptly, helped us with the luggage and he has a good size car/suv which was nice and clean. He also told us more about croatia on our way to airport. So like a mini tour guide. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of the old town. Great value and location.

My husband and I spent 6 nights there just recently. The apartment is in a great location, the bed was super comfortable, the apartment was very clean. The owner picked us up from the bus station and dropped us off at the Pile Gate with a map to the apartment. However, we choose apartments so that we can self cater, and this was very difficult. The description of a "fully equipped kitchen" was misleading. It was a kitchenette with 2 hot plates, sink and bar fridge. There were some pots and a frypan, but no cooking utensils. The owner was helpful in supplying some extra things that we requested. Even with these extra cooking utensils we still struggled to prepare and cook food due to limited space and equipment. I would recommend this accommodation, but only if cooking your own meals is not a priority.

The location is very close to almost everything you want to be close to. The apartments wifi is very good. The bathroom is fully equipped. The bedrooms are good for two persons only. The tv works great. The kitchen is decent enough to cook but not having an oven, microwave, tea maker is a minus. The apartment is on the fourth floor with no elevators which is very hard for some people. However the location beats that all. The owner is very nice and polite
