Stay away from apartment peppino!!! The host took our booking money and blocked our phone number! Had a booking in May, tried to postpone to September but instead of a discussion the host cancelled our booking and kept the money. See photos of our attempts to contact the host for days with no response. The host spotted a good opportunity to scam someone out of their money. I have never left a bad review before but I would hate this to happen to someone else. Please do not book with this person.

Myself and my partner stayed here for 4 nights while in Dubrovnik. Prior to our stay Tonka the host has sent us loads of details on how to get to the apartment which was fantastic. Check in was really easy. There were cold beers left in the fridge which were a life saver after walking up all the steps (be prepared there are steep steps all over the old town we were a bit stupid and didn't know this.) The apartment itself was perfect had the basics of what anyone would need while on a city break. The A/C was fantastic and we had beautiful views from our windows of the town. The shower is handheld which was a little bit of a downside but nothing that would warrant less than 5/5. It was only a 2 minute walk if even to the main street, close to loads of bars and restaurants. There was a little bit of noise but nothing you wouldn't expect from staying in a busy town. I would happily stay here again and would highly recommend the place to any of my friends or family that visit Dubrovnik.

Well, it is a place to stay with a very friendly owner. The rooms and amenities are very, very basic, be prepared. The location is nice, price was reasonable (except for the parking...). Lot of noise from other guests who arrived drunk at 3AM and 5AM.

This little apartment had everything we needed, our room even had a washing machine, comfortable clean and tidy, basic but did what it said on the tin, the owner Tonka was incredibly helpful and met us on arrival with good info for our stay. Would highly recommend a stay here, as other reviewers have said there are many steps not for the faint hearted but gives you a great work out. centrally located for all of the main focal points. Linen, towels provided and even a chilled lager and water in the fridge.

I have just returned from a 3 night stay at Apartment Peppino. I was very impressed with how quiet the street was, bearing in mind how close it is to the many restaurants and bars minutes away. Tonka the hostess was very friendly and helpful..I appreciated the 2 free beers and bottles of water left in the fridge and was most impressed that, after 2 nights, all towels were changed. It would have been easy to leave them for my last night. The only downside I could site is that the fridge was very noisy, so much so that I had to unplug it before bed to get a good sleep. Overall though, I would thoroughly recommend a stay here...

Everything in Dubrovnik is expensive and over-touristed, and so it can get a bit overwhelming. I was glad to have a quiet respite in the middle of the Old City -- close to everything but nice and private. Tonka was a wonderful and proactive host, providing lots of useful advice, hospitality gifts, etc. While the facilities are in no way luxurious, they were perfect for my needs in Dubrovnik -- good air-conditioning (necessarily for July), a comfortable bed, etc.

Tonka couldn't have been more helpful from the moment I booked this property. She responded very promptly to my emails and provided me with great info on getting from the airport to the apartment. She was also there waiting for my arrival which was earlier than the stated check in time. Great info and a walk through of the map and times to see places to optimise the non cruise timings. Apartment is literally in the centre of everything old town, really easy to find and beyond spotlessly clean. Basic but good facilities and excellent value for money.

I stayed at this place on two separate occasions on the same trip. The place was a little difficult to get to as they are many steps so a moderate amount of fitness it required. The second stay I was actually ill so the steps were very challenging at that point. However the main owner heard my coughing and breathing difficulty while cleaning other apartments and sent her cleaning lady to go to the pharmacy for me. They were very friendly and helpful. The room wasn't anything fancy but it was a good space and clean which I think is more important. They are located very close to the entry to the Old Town and there is a market near by you can purchase groceries. As it is not right next to the restaurants the room is very quiet. The air-conditioning worked perfectly, they have a washing machine however there isn't any washing powder and as I was too ill to leave the room I didn't end up using the machine as I wasn't able to buy any. If I was to ever return I would definitely stay here again.

This apartment is very well situated for Dubrovnik old town. There are quite a few steps up to the apartment, which is great for your glutes, but may be tricky for some people, however, there are steps all over Dubrovnik so it's hardly out of the ordinary. The apartment has a large bed, small bathroom and small kitchenette, but had everything we needed, namely wine glasses and a bottle opening. The WiFi is good, everything was clean and Tonka, the host, is fantastic. Tonka was very helpful and let us check out 30mins late and store our bags until our flight. All in all, a perfect little place for exploring the city and I would definitely recommend it.

This rating isn't for staying at your hotel as I cancelled my booking beforehand. This rating is for all the emails you sent me to the lead up even after I cancelled and emailed you to stop/unsubscribe. No I don't want transfers and no I don't need reminders for a booking. I left Dubrovnik over a week ago and am still receiving emails.

Dear We are very sorry for your experience and we share your opinion. That year we gave to operate our business to local agency and we also had similar experience what caused us to terminate the contract after 2 months. Even we understand you we think we don t deserve this rating because we were unable to affect this situation. Thank you for you review because it also made us think about our contract.
