We stayed 3 nights in the beginning of September and were very pleased with our stay. We experienced a warm welcome and had our room made ready in 30 minutes even though we arrived at 10 a.m. Everyone in the staff were very friendly and helpful and made sure that anything we asked for did not feel too troublesome. The food was very much to our liking, especially the tasting menu we had for dinner one evening. The room was quite small but had everything we needed. Only the sound proofing could be better - you could hear practically everything from the corridor. Other than that, with the friendly atmosphere making up for the lacknof sound proofing, we were very happy with our stay in Hotel Bellevue.

Fabulous hotel! We arrived in the dark so couldn’t see the view from my room but I could hear the sea so jumped up in the morning to draw back the curtains and wasn’t disappointed. Wow! The “Superior” room was a good size, fabulous bathroom with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, bath and hand gel. If you’ve left anything behind, it has all you’ll need. There was a desk, chairs, balcony chairs and table, and a drinks area with tea, coffee, mini bar and plenty of glasses, including wine glasses. There’s plenty of storage for clothes and cases. Bed is very comfortable with plenty of pillows and cushions. The room was quiet, only disturbance was people leaving or arriving with wheeled cases. Breakfast was exceptional, teas, coffees and a selection of self-service but choices of fresh foods, eggs, pancakes, made to order. You can have breakfast inside or out with sea views. The hotel staff are so welcoming and friendly. There are two restaurants and a bar and a lounge. If you fancy a lazy day there are plenty of spaces to sit comfortably. In the Vapor restaurant you’ll find that dinner is exceptional. There’s a lift down to the beach which is small and pebbled. This is a very romantic place to stay.
There’s a 10 minute walk downhill to the old town. It’s a 20 minute walk back up the hill so it’s worth buying a gorgeous ice cream to accompany you! Or you can hop on a bus or get a taxi which are easy to locate just outside the old town walls.
If I could give more than 5*s I would. I will return.

Last August we stayed at Hotel Bellevue, and it impressed us so much that we decided to return this August for a longer stay. It certainly didn't disappoint...

When we arrived into reception mid morning we were greeted by the lovely Ivanka. We explained that we had stayed last summer and had loved it, and she seemed genuinely delighted that we had chosen to come back. We didn't expect our room to be ready for us (the check in is usually mid afternoon) but we were pleasantly surprised that we were able to check in straight away.

After lunch down by the pool, we later returned to our room to find a personalised note thanking us for choosing to come back to Bellevue, alongside a gift of sweet treats.

The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. If you can stretch to booking a balcony room it really is worth it. We stayed in room 308 (last year we were in 309!) and it has a beautiful view across Bellevue beach below and the crystal waters of the Adriatic.

All of the hotel staff made us feel incredibly welcome and it is obvious how much they care about making your visit the best that it can be. Ivan and his team (in particular Roberto and Alen) were friendly, engaging and hospitable, as well as General Manager Sanela who took the time to ask us if everything was okay.

Towels in the rooms are changed daily, and every evening at 7.30pm you can expect a gentle knock on the door with a few "sweet dreams" chocolates.

You are spoilt for choice when it comes to the breakfast. I have never seen such an array of different food and drink available in the buffet area, as well as the "cooked to order" choices which are brought out by waiting staff to your table.

The hotel has its own lift to Bellevue beach. It has to be noted that this is a public beach and I suppose a minor disappointment was that on our previous visit last year, the hotel's own sun loungers had been put onto the smaller/quieter part of the beachside, which gave it a more exclusive feel. Yet this year they were simply stacked up against the side. We assume that the hotel can no longer solely claim this section of the beach and have been told to be mindful of the fact that it is for the public.

Having said this, there is a designated area for the hotel's loungers on the terrace with steps leading to the beach and it is close enough (just a few yards) for a dip in the sea, and is equally great for people watching!

The level of service offered means that this is never going to be a budget holiday but if you want to treat yourself and be completely indulged, I couldn't imagine a better place to be.

From arrival after group cycling trip, the post trip stay was exactly what we needed.
Our rooms were ready upon early arrival with the explanation about breakfast, location of amenities and WiFi.
The room was spacious and we were able to spread out and put away our suitcases. Robes, a safe, shower supplies, coffee/tea and water bottle waiting for our use.
The staff were very attentive and helpful for any guest needs. The Concierge was extremely friendly and able to provide airline check in and boarding passes for us.
Breakfast was a combination of fresh orders and buffet offered at 7:00-10:30. Early boxed breakfast was available for guests leaving at 5:00am for flights- so amazing!
We also enjoyed a beach lunch and outdoor dinner during our stay. Everything was reasonably priced and delicious with excellent service.
The hotel is located just above the bus stop and we purchased 3 day Dubrovnik Passes to ride the #4 bus back from Old Town and see the sites (including the wall and fort and museum).
Highly recommend reservations for dining near Old Town, but eating at 4-5 typically was not a problem for walk ins.

Hotel Bellevue is located 15 minutes walking distance to the old town. The rooms are perfectly situated facing the water with a small balcony. The sunrise and sunset is absolutely breathtaking from the rooms.
The breakfast is served from the terrace or the dining room with the same view. Breakfast is plenty with fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, salads, juices, yogurts, as well as a menu if you like to order eggs and other things. It’s all inclusive.
The pool is indoor, however, there is a beach and a patio to sit under an umbrella to enjoy swimming in the ocean or just to sunbathe.
There is pool service for food and drinks. The bar has an excellent menu as well as dinner.
The housekeeping does an excellent job cleaning the rooms.
Noteworthy mentions: Daniela and Antonio, who served us at breakfast and lunch at the beach. They both always provided service with a smile and are excellent.
Iris at housekeeping always took care of anything we needed in our room. She is truly amazing and manages her staff really well.
Stephen at check out was very professional, he had a taxi as well as our breakfast ready at 5 am prior to our check out.
We can’t wait to go back!

I took my husband here for a 70th birthday treat. I had read the reviews and booked it without too much thought. This hotel is exceptional. The location around 15 minutes walk to the centre of Dubrovnik is just perfect, just far enough to be away from the crowds but close enough to dip in and out of. The hotel itself is state of the art and we were very impressed by the electric black out blinds in our room as well as electric sun canopy over the balcony to protect us from the early morning sun. The bedroom was comfortable, the linens on the bed were super and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. On the first night of our arrival we decided to eat at the Vapour fine dining restaurant. The fish cookery was fantastic and we were impressed with every course. I think the thing I was most impressed with was the staff. It is an incredibly well run hotel and all the staff are beyond professional but so is their friendliness and humour. I wanted to particularly mark out Ivana whose welcome smile at breakfast can't be beaten. She is a lovely lady and entering the restaurant when she was there was a joy. I would also like to mention Robbie in the bar whose knowledge, friendliness and humour was a pleasure to be around. Mention "fashionably late" to him and he will know who I am. So what I am saying is all the staff were fantastic and I have only picked out two of the many so many congratulations to them all. I could go on and on but all that needs to be said really is that Hotel Bellevue exceeded our expectations on every level and we can't wait to come back and experience their hospitatility.

From the moment we checked-in, we realised that we had booked the best hotel. Cool, clean lines and slick 'scandi' furniture, it's the epitome of modern, chic design.
On arrival, the staff were excellent – warm greeting from Ivana on reception and our bags were speedily conveyed to our room. Our room had bright, airy and contemporary furnishings and, as we discovered the following morning, beautiful sea views. Breakfast buffet was lavish and cooked items were available on request. Again, all staff were exemplary; smiley efficient and friendly – a special thanks to Slaven Bilic, the pride of Hajduk Split! The hotel has its own luxury pool and is adjacent to a private beach, with attached bar and cafe serving delicious light meals. The walk into Dubrovnik was fine, but the road is busy and narrows to a single path. Not recommended in 36ª heat. No. 4 bus was a bonus for the return, uphill trek.
In the evenings, the terrace bar was a relaxing spot to enjoy a cold drink with live and varied musicians. Pavo, in particular was very good with keeping the drinks coming, not that we needed much encouragement and the views at dusk are stunning. Sad to leave, but would love to return – thanks to everyone at Bellevue

Third time lucky posting this revew...but the hotel was sooo good that I will keep submitting until it show up TA!
From arrival to departure this is a superb example of what a 5 star hotel should be.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and nothing was a problem - from requesting additional pillows to sorting our our air con, ensuring that even for March, it was switched to Summer setting for those of us who can't cope with the heat!
Our room was clean, bright and airy with a balcony over looking the bay. The bed was very comfortable, fresh clean linen and towels each day as required with turndown service, complimentary water each day, bowl of fruit on day 1.
Breakfast was very good, continental self service continental options (fruit, yogurt, cereals, juices, cold meats, cheese, breads), not to mention the table service menu for cooked items etc.
There is a beach with access via lift from the hotel and a lovely spa and gym area - with loungers, pool, jacuzzi, sauna etc. with a gorgeous view overlooking the sea.
Travel: we were arriving late on Sunday so had a Taxi prebooked for the 25 minute journey from the airport. We use an uber on our return. The hotel is an easy 15 mins walk down hill to the old town with bus no 4 (Hotel palace - 3 stops) to return and save your feet. The Dubrovnik pass, 3 day, can be shown as the kiosk to receive a free travel pass.
All in all, a wonderful hotel in a beautiful part of the world. Do not miss out!

Gorgeous hotel. Just an oasis of cool, beauty, and relaxation. Breakfast was amazing enhanced Especially by the view from balcony. We also enjoyed the tasting menu in Vapor restaurant and it was top class. Staff all hugely professional and friendly.
The beach bar is relatively expensive, and should do more snacks options.
One top tip is to use Uber to avoid local taxis ripping you off at twice the price.
Also lounge towels are provided so no need to bring your own

We stayed at the Bellevue for 3 nights at the end of May with our two teenage children in two separate classic sea view rooms – one double, one twin. (Although we weren’t given rooms on the same floor (and they apologized for this), they were easy to go between as the hotel is fairly compact). The hotel was great and we would definitely recommend. Very modern, very clean, spacious high spec rooms with plenty of storage and fantastic sea views. Great location and always straightforward to get Ubers from – usually within a couple of minutes. A really good base from which to explore the city. The breakfast was excellent with a mix of buffet and a la carte options, with plenty of healthy and unhealthy choices. The direct beach access and beautiful bay was an added bonus. I initially worried that we wouldn’t be able to get a sun lounger at the hotel’s small dedicated terraced area, but there were always spaces, and the staff at the beach bar ran a food and drink service here. The sea was blue and clear but difficult to get into because of the soft, stony beach, although plenty of other people managed it and we enjoyed watching the cliff jumpers!!! We loved Dubrovnik and were very happy with our choice of hotel. Make sure you book dinner at the Panorama restaurant (front row) well in advance. The cable car was fun, modern and smooth running and easy to take up to the top, with no queues. Also recommend entering the old city through the Buza gate, where we walked straight in, rather than via the main gate, where the queues were long.
