The Grand Hotel Park Dubrovnik is celebrated for its prime location near beaches and restaurants, accompanied by breathtaking sea views, which has made it a favorite among many travelers. Visitors revel in the hotel's stylish atmosphere, Mediterranean decor, and a wealth of amenities, including a spacious pool and diverse breakfast options.
However, while the sea view rooms are a hit for their tranquility, there are concerns regarding value, with some guests finding food and beverages overpriced. Service quality and room upkeep have received mixed reviews, highlighting both commendable staff interactions and disappointing maintenance issues.

We have just come back from staying here for 10 days (going from in season end of sep to out of season in oct). The view from our top floor sea view was spectacular. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a range of cold and warm food, replenished between 7-10am and has everything you could want. Staff were friendly and helpful.
In terms of the room, it was comfortable but lacked storage space for things that couldn't be hung in the wardrobe. Cpuple of bird could do with a refresh of paint, but overall the main grand hotel parm biilding and rooms are moderrn and spacious. The air con system is very old and very loud we either kept getting woken up by how loud it was (like a motor) or we woke up sweltering... so that was a shame. Our towels were replenished daily, our bedding made daily but in terms of clean bedding maybe it was changed once or twice over the 10 days. Apart from that our room was not cleaned, so after 10 days, things started to look grubby.
Bar wasn't open until 2am as stated, maybe because it was out of season so we tended to have the last drink there around 11 before they closed up.
Pool area - clean and not busy so you won't struggle to get a sunbed. We spent about 4 afternoons around the pool and only once was there staff at the pool bar serving drinks and food. Rest of the time there was no pool bar or music, so we took cheap beer and food from the shop to enjoy by the pool instead.
Overall I think it's a good facility for anyone mid 30s onwards and in a good location as there are lots of restaurants and cafe bars and shops close by and the views and walks around are great. But if you're someone that goes on holidays to spend a lot of time at the hotel, maybe this isn't the one.
Few disappointing features but didn't ruin our holiday. In my opinion, this is more of a 3+ star bot a 4 star due to the cleanliness during our stay

This a clean, efficient and friendly hotel. Though some of the equipment is a a little worn, the reception staff are able to organise a prompt remedy. The food is of a high quality and though the choice is limited in each session there is enough variety over several days. All the rooms are a short distance from the lifts. These are quite small taking only four people comfortably. We didn’t experience any problems but it could be difficult if the hotel were busy. The pools are well maintained and of a useful size. The splash pool has jets to add to the fun and is adjacent to the bar should you wish to be served whilst bathing. There are plenty of sun loungers and towels are provided on request. The number of parasols was limited as it was the end of season and many were damaged but they were adequate for the numbers present. There is a garden area adjacent to the pool area but the access was blocked off. This may be incorporated later. Adjacent buildings are being renovated but no work was being done on our stay. Hopefully this will be completed out of season. There are a large number of bars, restaurants and ice parlours nearby and a supermarket down the road for any supplies. It is a short walk to the beach and coastal path which affords several walks, including nearby hills. There are several spots with steps down to the sea for swimming and snorkeling. There are bus routes within easy walking distance. A Dubrovnik pass is useful if you’re a tourist as it covers access to several sites and free bus travel, though it is possible to walk to the old city from the hotel. It is best to check online when large cruise ships are due as this leads to more congestion in tourist areas. Public toilets cost 1€ and some take cards.

Hotel location is good next to numerous restaurants, a promenade and a beach. The beach is a pebble beach with no sun loungers so swim shoes are advised. The beach is also full of rubbish so I would not recommend. There is currently construction going on in the hotel next to the pool. It’s not overly noisey but there was drilling, sawing etc going on. We had a room with a sea view. The view was lovely. Room a decent size but the bathroom is fairly small. The sink was oversized which meant there was little to no space for my toiletries. The shower was a semi circular cubicle which was small and I kept hitting off the door showering. The cleaning in the hotel was very poor. Twice we had to ring reception to ask to re clean the room. They only made the bed and changed the towels. They didn’t clean the bathroom, wipe down the table or sweep the floor. Food in the hotel is only available in bar or buffet restaurant. The bar food menu is small and they food was horrible. We had chicken and mash potatoes which absolutely disgusting. We tried the bar again on the last night and got burgers that were ok but I felt sick the rest of the evening. However the buffet breakfast was nice. I loved the pancake maker machine which made lovely pancakes and there was a good selection of foods. The hotel has a no outside drinks and food policy. A bottle of coke in the vending machine was 4e and bottle of water 2.80 which is ridiculous. The pool area is big with loads of sun loungers. The hotel also has indoor pool, sauna steam room and gym. Gym small but adequate. Sauna and steam room were good. Spa also nice I had a treatment there. Overall the hotel only ok and I would not stay there again. It was disappointing.

Positives are that it’s in a decent location for close by to bars and restaurants. It’s a 15-20 minute bus ride to the Old Town.
The pool and area are nice and spacious.
The not so goods. As has been said before a bit dated definitely not a 4 star by todays standard. The staff could be happier. It’s really expensive, the cheapest bottle of wine in the restaurant was 36€ let that sink in. No one had bottles of wine on the tables everybody drinks water, a bottle of water 5€ and so the prices go on around the pool bar, where they might sell 10 drinks all day!
The restaurant is old fashioned the food is bang average. Book B&B there is much better food options in surrounding restaurants.
Room facility has a cooler rather than a fridge, if you want milk for your tea or coffee in the room they provide that in a plastic cup you take to bed with, what’s that all about?
Room service is basically beds made up everything else is left including dirty cups of coffee or tea.
My overall impression of this hotel is that’s struggling a bit, in that it’s a transient hotel people stopping for short stays after cruises for a few days.
Croatia is beautiful but suddenly got expensive in hotels, have a good look around to get value for money

Hotel situated in a great posotion in Lapad handy for the PEBBLE beach and beautiful walks around the coast, and very handy for bars and restaurants, although as it was coming to the end of the season it was extremely quiet. Its very easy to get to Dubrovnik old town with a 15 min bus ride on either the No6 or No 4. We were bed and breakfast and this was nice with a very large choice of things to eat. There is a very nice pool area outside with a bar only and a nice inside pool area gym and spa. The grounds are not great and need a bit of TLC. The room is basic and clean with a chiller not a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities but ad hoc as to when they were replenished. Before booking check on the work being done around the hotel, as unfortunately for us our room was not on the sea view side, and the VERY VERY noisy building work started at 7am until 7pm with continuous digging and drilling, that apparently had just started, so we were driven out of our room every day not even able to sit on the balcony, if you are even more unfortunate like us and on the top floor and the weather is bad, your bedroom roof feels like it is being blown off and the wind whistles through the room very loudly to the point I had to put towels and rugs up against the door for a sort of peaceful night. Despite many trips to reception to ask if we could move (as the hotel was by no means full) there was always an excuse as to why a decision could not be made. It completely ruined our holiday, as we were there for a whole week !! I would advise to take euros as surrounding bars and restaurants offered a discount for cash. Average price for a large beer and glass of wine 17 euros and no meal was less than 20 euros. The reataurants towards the beach offered lots of seafood and are really luxurious.

The hotel is in a great location near the beach, bars & restaurants. The bus stop was a 5 minute walk and bus took a little over 10 minutes to ge to the old town. The old town can get very busy so it was nice coming back to lapad to a more relaxed atmosphere. Our room had a lovely sea view over sunset beach. Rooms are spotless & comfortable with a great shower.
The outside pools were really nice and there was also an indoor pool & Jacuzzi which were also very good. They also provide large towels free of charge.
We went half board for the week but only decided to have dinner there 3 times as we wanted to try some of the different restaurants nearby. There was always a great selection of food at breakfast and dinner. Anything I ate I fully enjoyed. The only down side is drinks are expensive and there is no atmosphere in the restaurantor or bar. The staff are helpful and very nice.
The only negative is that work is being carried out to pool bar. So work men there plastering and painting. So not really ideal. However I'd say it's going to be fantastic when it's done and it's always good to see a hotel updating its amenities. Overall a great stay and I would gladly stay again.

Stay at hotel was nice in relation to room , views and food. Reception desk was very nice and hospitable.
We had one negative experience that tainted the whole stay for us. Our room was breakfast not included , we were told at reception that we can still avail of breakfast and pay separately at check out. First day we did this there was no problem.
Second day at breakfast at one point a female restaurant worker openly pointed at our table and indicated at the manager to come down. Naturally, we were very confused and as the manager came to the table many people started looking over at us. The manager spoke to us as if he was catching us doing something wrong. He asked us if we were staying at the hotel and if we were what was our room number. It became clear at that point that the staff had assumed that we weren’t guests at the hotel. We confirmed our hotel number. The manager then went back to the cashier and made a point of coming back down and printing out a receipt for us to sign. I explained calmly to the manager that we were told to pay at the end of our stay and I did not understand why we were made feel as though we were doing something wrong.
We were upset by this incident for a number of reasons. Firstly, why was no one else asked if they were actually guests at the hotel ? The room was full with people but we were singled out ? Secondly, when it was confirmed that we were guests there was no apology from the restaurant staff worker or the restaurant manager.
The whole experience was extremely humiliating and upsetting. We left the restaurant before we had finished eating breakfast as we felt people watching us. We had planned to spend the day in the hotels spa and gym but decided to not spend anymore time then needed at the hotel as we were made feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed that we had done something wrong when we were paying guests. I don’t know what prejudice or judgement the hotel restaurant staff possess that made them think that we weren’t residents of the hotel and that we weren’t going to pay , but it is not okay to treat people let alone paying customers in this fashion. Would not recommend staying at the hotel for the treatment of restaurant staff that we received alone.

We booked this for 10 days as pur holiday through booking.com. Good cost flights good klm and jet two. We booked private transfers so was about 30 mins to hotel. Hotel was clean efficient and a base for us. Rooms with sea view 5th floor v nice but no shade in the afterwards, be warned. There was a lack of storage in the room and the mirror for make up was not central as fridge underneath got in the way. Double bed was two pushed together ☹️ We had buffet breccy each day and it was great hubby not keen on the coffee though. The hotel is close to beach, bars, restaurants and bus stop to old town. We feel there was a lack of atmosphere in the hotel at night the bar was pricey compared to the nearest bar outside. Lunches by the pool were good and the staff here were lovely too, Roko and Claudia smiling and singing. Pool boys were lazy not even handing towels to you. They are improving pool bar work is on going there is some noise but nothing horrendous (only worry was health and safety or lack of it). Will be nice once finished hopefully workers get first drinks.

Pros:- Staff were pleasant on arrival Our room was very clean and modern on second floor. Very near local strip/beach/restaurants and supermarket. In fact highly recommend going to supermarket 'tommy' during your stay for lunch /snacks, alot cheaper. Cleaner does a great job daily usually after you've headed out for breakfast. Breakfast lovely great selection, again staff pleasant on arrival. Loads of loungers around pool, very relaxed atmosphere, can bring own food and drink (again recommend supermarket buys) Also on arrival, requested more pillows, brought instantly, very comfortable room. We also had mentioned fridge wasn't working and engineer sent up very soon after, although he informed us 'its mini bar not mini fridge ', which I assume means it's not to be as cold ?- unsure. Great air con in room though!
Good outdoor pool, allowed floaties, very near beach too for lovely sunsets. Also fab spa inside, wouldn't pay 100 euro for 30 min back massage mind you, but the sauna/steam room/foot spa /jacuzzi and indoor pool all included and lovely, open between 9am to 12pm then again 4pm to 8.30pm, bring a face mask with you abd heaven ! gym also looked good, not that I took part in that. Have just checked out at 11, no issues , staff pleasant and kept luggage until transfer time, able to sit and relax /charge tablet In lobby for flight later.
Cons:- I would most definitely agree with reviews that state noisy hotel. Not in the way of loud music /neighbours etc but the walls/ceilings are thin.
You can hear scrapping of chairs/coughs etc throughout your stay, I'm glad I brought wax war plugs but still not always effective. The doors need a good slam to properly close too, I felt very ignorant doing so. As others have mentioned , there us construction work going on around pool area. I have to say they weren't noisy, definitely getting paid by hour as the plastering of one piece of bar roof tool over a week. Gave us something to watch. This did in turn mean no pool bar, and although there is an ice cream box /order lunch /drinks out from hotel to pool area, very expensive, two cornettos 10 euro ?! I'm by no means poor but my goodness you can get two nice large cones gelato for 4 euro near beach.

Having read mixed reviews we were wary about staying here as Jet 2 changed our original hotel to this one. However, all that was not necessary on arrival. The reception staff have been lovely throughout including the service staff in the restaurant. The room was lovely and spacious, twin with garden view. Toilet and shower good size for two. Hotel was nicely decorated throughout the halls are bright and lovely flooring. The pool area is clean and large, pools a little cold but OK after a few lengths. Inside pool, gym, sauna etc included which is great. Although the hot tub not working was a disappointment. Rooms cleaned every day and sheets changed after 3 days. The food was great, we had half board, lots of choice and does the job for what you pay! Tommy's supermarket is a few minutes walk and very handy for snacks and drinks. You need to get a bus no 6 or no4 into old town, both stops a few minutes walk away. One big negative is the non availability of drinking water, aside from breakfast you have to pay. This is a basic need and and should be available at both meals and complimentary in your room, the main reason for 4/5 review. Please seriously consider changing this policy. Would I come back, yes!

Hi , there was no work taking place while I was there but right beside the pool area they seem to be renovating an old building it was in the process of being rebuilt but no work taking place . I would imagine e that the noise will be very disturbing if it goes ahead .. they were also building a pool bar but it’s at the stage of near completion so maybe that’s what they are talking about but I’d check with them to see if it’s the major works that were stalled when I was there
We stayed with free buffet breakfast included and this included hot and cold drinks. The buffet offered lots of choice with hot and cold food.
I didn't have any evening meals there.
There are more places to choose from in the Dubrovnik area.
