The most amazing location in the centre of Dubrovnik, a very beautiful hotel with a wonderful restaurant and some of the best service we have ever received. We arrived early and our rooms weren't ready so we happily sat in the square people (particularly game of thrones tours) watching, drinking cocktails and eating wonderful food. Our rooms were very comfortable with amazing bathrooms for such an old and quirky building.
One day was quite stormy so we happily sat in the restaurant eating and drinking while watching yet more game of thrones tours getting blown about and rained on!
The staff were fantastic and we would happily stay there again just for the service.

I rated this property 5* for its location. The hotel is conveniently located within the walls. It was nice to be able to go and rest in our room and then walk back out again. The service is top notch and friendly. Breakfast which was included in our room rate was off a menu and offered a good selection. We were there during good weather so did not suffer any AC issues. Although we did use the AC I can only imagine how hot it could be in the heat of summer. If you are looking for 5 star accommodations you will not find it here and we did not expect it going in. It's definitely more on the charming side and less on the modern so would rate accommodations 3.5-4*. We stayed in a pricey Deluxe Suite due to lack of availability of a lower category room during our stay and I'm not sure I would say it was worth over $800/night. BUT like I said we really wanted to be within the walls so we paid the price.

I decided to leave a comment on our last hotel as it exceeded our expectations in every single detail.

It wasn’t easy to decide where to stay in Dubrovnik, but what I knew is that I didn’t want to  waste my holiday time travelling to the best spots but to choose the best possible location.

Staying in the Old City means you are next door to the historical and cultural places, the best beaches, restaurants and island.

You may think that the strict center is noisy but with the hotel double glazed windows, it was peaceful  sleeping like on a desert island.

From the moment that reservation was done, we were contacted and offered assistance to make our stay memorable. We gladly accepted their transfer from the airport and later to the harbor and had no worries about porterage service as the hotel is situated in the pedestrian zone.

Our room was perfect size and bathroom was the real surprise …every woman will fall in love immediately as for beautiful ceramic, copper bath tub, separated  shower with perfect pressure and quality cosmetic.

What I need to underline is a cleanness in the whole hotel and beautiful soft, pampering towels and bathrobes in our room.

The reception staff was eager to help, advise and give very useful tips which made our stay much more rich than we would ever plan.

We have enjoyed a la carte breakfast with a wide menu of very tasteful dishes and we loved sitting on as square terrace having cocktails and fish dinners. The waiters were amazing!

The only ´bad thing´ was that at some point we needed to leave for a next destination… what is for sure,  will definitely be back to The Pucic Palace hotel with the family.

This hotel has surpassed all our expectations.

We have booked this hotel because of the perfect location in the middle of the castle of Dubrovnik. We did not expect to have commodities of the modern hotels however we had the best stay in Croatia.

They do not have a swimming pool but we were offered complementary lounge chairs, towels and umbrellas at Banje Beach just a minute walking distance from the gate.

The hotel is an easy stroll away from the gate. We were met by young and friendly bell boy who helped us with our luggage.

He showed us around during pleasant walk to the hotel. Hotel is in pedestrian zone and we were informed to call for luggage service.

We were welcomed with refreshing cold towels and lemonade.

Kind reception staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

They helped us with our rental car reservation as well as recommendations for local restaurants and bars.

On our departure another young man helped us with our luggage to taxi stand at the gate. It was like we were welcomed by own family.

And the breakfast…it cannot be praised enough. From young staff in waiting who were too kind and friendly to delicious delicatesses, orange preservatives, the fluffiest blueberry pancakes…poached eggs with avocado are to die for and that fabulous breakfast was included in our room rate . The best part is that the breakfast is served until noon – how civilized 😊

Rooms were very comfortable and furnished in classic style. It was slightly warm but considering the heat wave AC system was just fine.

Our room was very spacious overlooking side street. The mosaic tiled bathroom was very stylish with good water pressure.

I could not recommend this property enough, kind staff, fabulous breakfast, charming building and unbeatable location.

It was a real treat to all our senses. We will definitely be back!!

When planning this visit to Dubrovnik, we determined we wished to stay within the city walls. Perhaps we should not have. It is a very, very busy tourist destination that may have best been avoided in the evening, especially at this price. The hotel is historic and attractive, but the a/c was not nearly up to speed for the heat, and the odour in the bathroom (from the sewers) was almost unbearable, even if we closed the door. The shower was mouldy, and not very pleasant. The staff are to be commended as they were lovely and accommodating, but you would probably be better off looking elsewhere further out.

Wow what a fantastic place. The blonde lady on reception was a font of all knowledge about all of the amazing food places in Dubrovnik making us lots of reservations. The breakfast was fabulous each day! The rooms are great and the bathtub is fantastic. Some of the curtains were a little broken but still looked good.

Just a tiny idea that could make it even better- could you perhaps add some information about who the room is named after on the ‘welcome’ letter that is left on the bed? We did our own research about ours but it would be nice if guests could read about these famous Croatians and why the room is named after them- it would add such a special touch!

Upon check in, there were many issues. Once we got upstairs, we felt it was very hot in the room. The thermostat showed +28C. We were told that AC broken and there were no available rooms to move us to. Not to mention, the ceiling sunlight could not be closed. An extra rolling bed was stored right in front of our room door during our entire stay (quite odd placement). A main issue was the safe. When time came to opening the safe to get our passports and money it wouldn’t open and the master key couldn’t be found.
Four hours of our vacation time wasted on trying to fix issue. Besides safe was not installed properly and could be removed from the room anytime. Shower was clogged, as well. But this is minor….
We really had high hopes for this hotel but we were extremely let down!

The Pucic Palace is truly in the heart of everything in Dubrovnik. When we were driving into the city, a staff member stayed on the phone to help us with the final few turns. Another staff member brought a cart to a rendezvous point (the hotel is in a no vehicle zone) to pick up our bags and get them - any my wife - to the lobby while I parked the car. Our room was wonderful and breakfast delicious and professionally served. Right outside the door was the local market with fresh foods and crafts. It was a great four night stay in Dubrovnik and I highly recommend the Pucic Palace!

Thank you for your question! We kindly suggest several options to choose from, depending on prices and vicinity of the accommodation. There is the Žičara parking lot in the near vicinity of the Old town( walkable distance)- pricing 50 kuna per hour, Hilton Hotel garage- limited number of places- 700 kuna / day, Public Garage Ilijina Glavica ( about 500-700 kuna/day, and there is parking lot next to General Hospital Dubrovnik, pricing about 300 kn/dayfrom where you need to take a bus or taxi to come to Old town.
