It saves walking up and down a ton of steps. If you just go up and down Antuninska it is a lot of steps. Hosts very gracious about carrying bags from city gate to rooms. That is when you learn the less steps way. Good room, excellent service and location. But parking is not free as the entry says. We...

I never write reviews, but in this case I have decided to write a practical review that hopefully answers all the questions that anyone would ask about getting to-from the guesthouse and about the guesthouse itself and a bit about the city experience GETTING THERE You can easily get to the guesthouse via the airport shuttle and a short walk...

From the initial email contact, to being met just outside the city walls, our experience staying with Anka was fantastic. She made us feel completely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. She made restaurant reservations, booked a driver and tour to Montenegro, taxis and gave us general advice that made our stay inside the old city of Dubrovnik an...

Anka, the owner, is a great hostess. She strived to make us feel comfortable. The renovated old house is charming right in Dubrovnik's old town. The room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious, always fruits, bread, cheese, cold cuts, juice. My husband asked for more tomatoes and they were there next day. We couldn't ask for more! Lots...

Terrible crazy stairs to unit and a little narrow one once you're inside. Bed was fine but rest of place had terrible sound. You hear everything from other guest upstairs and ceiling is low low low. Owners aren't there and forget to let you know so either borrow a local phone or turn on your data to call them. And...

Basic room, spotlessly clean, excellent location in the old city (on one of the streets made of stairs - Dubrovnik is like that). The owner was there every day, looking after the property. She was very friendly and welcoming - I was greeted with a "Hello darling!" every morning. Snacks & coffee provided (fruit, cookies, etc.).

In my 15 years of extensive travel around the world, I have never had such an amazing experience as I did staying with Anka and her family at Rooms Vicelic. Anka's family cares about the guests in a way that I've never seen before - they are truly genuine and loving people, and they go out of their way to...

After reading TripAdvisor reviews and finding an off-season deal, we booked five nights here in the heart of the old city. We loved this quaint little well maintained inn, and we really liked the owner, Anka. I have many good things to say about Vicelic, but first must mention two significant drawbacks. From the main level of old town, you...

It is surely the best place to stay in Dubrovnik, inside the walls, some steps from the Plaka/Stradum, very good staff (Anka), complimentary coffee and biscuits and fruits, clean rooms... If you can go up some stairs, it is the perfect place!!

Although we did not know about the steep steps in the old town, which is part of this amazing place, we were immediately helped with our luggage when we met "darling" Anka. She was so welcoming and helpful! She made us feel like being home away from home. Room was clean, a/c, quiet and we had access to the cute...
