This family-run hotel is located in quiet part of Zadar, Borik, but only 10-minute drive from Zadar's centre. Hotel Niko is situated just a few meters from the beautiful pebble beach with clean sea and offers free internet access and free parking. The air-conditioned rooms feature satellite TV, hairdryers and work desks. The restaurant Niko is one of the most popular restaurants in Zadar, because of its 50 year tradition, and delicious Mediterranean cuisine with fish specialties. The meals are accompanied by Croatian and international wines. Hotel Rooms: 12
We stayed here for a night on our way to a wedding in Split. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, and has a nice location next to the beach (just across the street). Unfortunately my sister got sick the night we were here, but the owner was very kind and loaned us a thermometer to check her temperature. In addition, after we left, I forgot my suit in the hotel, but the owner gave my suit to a bus driver and he delivered it the next day to Split (158km away); all I had to do was to pick it up at the bus station. (Delivery by bus is evidently a common thing in Croatia and faster than FedEx or UPS). The hotel took care of the cost of tipping the bus driver as well in advance, which they didn't have to do. Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights the staff was super helpful and friendly, they have a beautiful restaurant with delicious seafood dishes 👌 . They give you towels and put a parasol and relaxing chairs for you on the beach. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Hotel Niko is a wonderful hotel located on the other side of the bay from Old Town Zadar. While it's not walking distance to Old Town, everything else about this hotel is great. The service is top notch. The room was large with classic furnishings. There is a balcony facing the bay. For those that swim, just walk across the street and your on the beach. The restaurant onsite is fantastic. The free breakfast offered freshly cooked omelettes and crepes. Free parking onsite.

Hotel Niko is a place with a soul. Excellent service! I want to point out Marija, really hard working and lovely waitress and also Mate who is always in good mood and polite. He cares for the guests and our experience. Love how he talks with guests and gives his best to make the hotel feels like home! Furthermore, Aljosa (I think that's how is his name) who is so patient and always smiling even when he is full of work. Last but not least, Alen, the waiter who is always there, aksing if everything is OK and if I need anything more. Thank you for being so caring and lovely! Thank you for this unique experience, Hotel Niko! Your staff makes a great team - dream team! I recommend this small, humble, cute place to all of you!

We stayed three nights in this hotel. We were pleased with the pleasant service and the comfort of the room and the cleanliness. However, the hotel is rather far from the old city. We stayed in a standard view which meant a small balcony and an unattractive view. The breakfast and the dinner are of a good standard. We missed an outside terrace. If pebble beaches are not your thing, there are no swimming facilities.

The hotel is positioned on the beachfront but is a little out of town. It is a quaint. The rooms are clean, comfortable and uniquely furnished. There are no lifts so you have to carry your suitcases up to your room. A lovely little hotel.

Slightly out of the old town, but the ¾h walk along the marina was pleasant. Very easy to find a taxi or uber for the way back. Not being in the old town, it has free parking and the location is quiet. Conservative décor but nice room, bathroom and terrace with partial sea view. Very comfortable bed, but only one bulgy pillow. It was uncomfortable for me -I had to use one of the small fancy cushions. Excellent breakfast and very tasty dinner at their fish restaurant. Most of all we enjoyed the service – very helpful and smiling – it brightened our stay in lovely Zadar.

No doubt, this is a really nice hotel, and breakfast is served on an open terrace with a view of the sea, the way breakfast is meant to be had on the coast. I had a nice room with nice decor and spacious balcony. I stayed here while attending a conference, and since everything was sponsored, I can't comment on the cost, but everything was in order, nice, and clean. The location could be better, there is a nice beach across the street, but old town is not within walking distance.
