We stayed for two nights in September. This complex really is something special and an experience I will never forget. Essentially, it is a self-sufficient family-run chalet complex complete with livestock and homegrown produce, decorated in a homely fashion with care and love. The whole family are involved in running the business and everyone is clearly passionate about the experience...

Staff is very friendly. You can sign up for dinner on the big chalkboard. Food was great as were the rooms and the pool. The cats that are roaming the premises add to the feeling of being a guest on the countryside. Would definitely return!

A stunningly quaint Croatian retreat. Breakfast is prepared with ingredients from the farm so if locally sourced is your cup of tea you'll love it here. A great location for the wonders of the national park. The warmest welcome I've ever experienced. Romantic retreat with a cottage feel. It's all about the little touches and there's a lot of love...

We stayed here after visiting Krka national park, which is a short drive away (and also highly recommended!) The location was beautiful and very peaceful. The room was lovely and airy, with a swimming pool just outside. We were visited by a friendly cat and also managed to make friends with the resident dog! The food was gorgeous, especially the...

Our GPS kept telling us to drive ahead, deeper in what looked like the middle of nowhere - this was exactly what we were looking for. And when we got there we were not disappointed. We arrived late and after a warm welcome, we were still invited to some Croatian ham and cheese with some wine, even though the kitchen...

We had a very nice time staying at the Kalpics'. It's a nicely laid out place including a nice pool and an open-air dining room. It's in a very quiet country area a bit away from anywhere (amazing stars on a clear night!) but within easy distance of Sibenik and Krka. Dinner is €20 for adults (less for children) and...

Anita and here team do a fantastic job of making the stay a memorable experience. Large rooms, very modern and quality fit out make this even better than the pictures. The new block of rooms are only 6 years old (and look almost brand new), comfy beds, quiet, good air conditioning for those hot Croatian summers, and a nice pool...

Big, clean room with airco. The swimming pool has just the right size to get the necessary refreshment when it's hot. The accomodation is situated in the countryside, you need the car to get to the store or visit something. Wifi quality is good. Breakfast basic, but good. Only very small remarks pop to my mind: dogs of the neighbours...

I visited Kalpic with my partner 3 years ago and had a lovely stay, so this year I took my mum. It was even better than remembered. We were in one of the newly converted rooms, which was lovely and kept very clean. The pool (which wasn't there on my last visit) is also lovely and gave somewhere to relax...

Yesterday morning, we drove out of the gate of Kalpic B & B - my 12 year old daughter in tears waving Anita good-bye - vowing to return to this Croatian paradise! This place is an absolute example to everyone in the tourist industry! It combine the professional with the personal - the formal (crisp table cloths, perfect wines) with...
