It was all so nice from the beginning to the end. The hotel is located at a 3 minute walk to the city centre. We arrived pretty late in the night but there was still somebody at the reception to welcome us. The room was very spacious and looked very clean, same for the bathroom. There were complimentary products for personal hygiene, single use slippers, bath robes. The room didn't have an outside window, but one that gave a look over the reception from the second floor, as the hotel is an adaptation of classical local houses with interior yards behind massive gates. Everything seemed very clean regarding the current pandemic restrictions.
Nice experience, 10/10 would come again

What a great find! This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Brasov. You walk out the front door and you are 100 feet from the place where you meet the incline on the mountain. Lots of great restaurants and pubs nearby. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower had great hot water and water pressure. And such a pretty place.

We stayed in the "Attic double room" of this hotel, which is very well located in the old city of Brasov. This comfortable room is quite different, with a sloping ceiling supported by wooden beams. A charm! The service is satisfactory.

The breakfast could improve to enhance the quality of the hotel.

This is an older hotel, the type with creaky stairs, but I am sad to say I could not find any particular charm to it, except the alternatives in Brasov just had terrible reviews.

Obviously the selling point is location, with all of central Brasov in a very easy walk, including the main square (just one minute away). The street below was fairly quiet, no bars of restaurants right below only people talking sometimes, and the windows blocked out any noise when closed. Keep in mind for taxi, there is really no way for them to stop on either street by the hotel so you will have to coordinate and move fast.

While the room is actually fairly big for a center city area, it has no room safe and the wi-fi is awful - frequently having no connection to the network to the point where I mostly used my roaming instead. The bed was not comfortable, but unlike some older reviews, I did not have problems with hot water or shower. As a non-European, the bulky small comforters and open shower design are not my cup of tea, but that is personal taste. The whole hotel just feels very badly in need of a facelift.

They serve a breakfast which is mostly continental with a couple of hot items and espresso machine.

I spent two nights in a twin bed single at this hotel. Overall, this was a good choice with enough positives to keep it at a 4 rating.

Pros-
1. Clean
2. Well situated
3. Safe and Quiet
4. Excellent AC unit that cools as expected
5. Good water pressure/hot water in the shower

Cons-
1. My single did not come with a bath towel which I found irksome. The hand towel barely wrapped around my 32 inch waist. Yes, I could have asked for a proper bath towel, but I don't think I should have to do so.
2. The bathrobe was missing its 'belt'.
3. Shower was unnecessarily small. Good thing I am an agile and mobile middle aged man. At 5'11" and 165 lbs, it was a tight squeeze.
4. AC unit had blinking lights. Obviously, it needed maintenance, perhaps simply a new filter.
5. When I entered the room, it smelled like Indian food which is odd as there was nary an Indian restaurant in Brasov. It also may have been some sort of industrial glue that caused the smell.
6. Hand soap dispenser kept crashing into the small sink and would knock over my toiletries. There was a dearth of space to place small items.

Overall, while satisfied with the hotel, I left feeling their audience is not the solo traveller. I believe the issues ....ie. AC unit needing a new filter....may very well be known but not addressed in a timely fashion.

Definitely not an upscale choice! Booked into an attic room, and it turned out to be a poor choice because of the sloped ceiling and beams. If you're taller than 5'4, this is not a good room for you. There was literally only once place you could stand up in the bathroom. The bed was hard, we were only given one individual comforter (and they knew there were two of us), and when I went down at midnight to get another one, the person's English was poor and I had to pantomime what I needed. The shower door was broken and the floor flooded every day; it did not get fixed during our three days.No shelves to put things on and only one little towel bar, not adequate to hang towels up. No hooks, two hangers in the closet, etc. Only the room had a/c, the hallways were incredibly warm! The towels were the thinnest and most threadbare I have ever seen in a hotel. The room was a good size, though, and we did appreciate having a table and chairs there to put things on, as there were no dressers. Didn't care much for the food, either. Baked goods were clearly from the supermarket, no cappuccino machine and very little variety. Although we liked the location in Brasov, we would never stay here again.

We had an attic room which was beautifully decorated and cozy. The bed is super comfortable, the room is pristine and the shower gels have a super nice aroma.

If you are from Romania, you can also pay by travel tickets.

We stayed here one night on our trip. We visited friends who have a ministry in Braşov to gypsy children. Great hotel - first class. Everything was wonderful - location (center of town), beds, shower, service, breakfast! Would highly recommend!
