The place is dirty and dark. Smells like an old bar. When you walk in there is so much cigarette smoke it is hard to breathe. The owner, a very unpleasant old Spanish lady, is quite rude and unfriendly. Rooms are very small and the food is third rate. The atmosphere is somewhat seedy. It seems more like the town bar, lots of drinking. Would recommend staying elsewhere. Also dangerous area.

I stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend in February 2019 and I can honestly say that we felt very spoilt and everything (staff, cleanliness, quietness, breakfast, location, size&decoration of the room, heating, price etc) was faultless. We also had dinner in their restaurant one night and found the food to be delicious. Highly recommended.

Lovely old world, authentic Riad. Beautifully appointed room in genuine moorish, Arabian style. Great service and great terrace. Good kitchen. Wonderful warm staff. Great location in the Médina . Clean, warm and welcoming.

We chose the Reducto restaurant because we could drink wine. We arrived at 8h30, and ordered the food. The service was really slow and the food was served almost cold. One of the group ordered a gaspacho as a starter that was forgotten and only served after the other start eating. Positive mark to the dessert - chocolate tart and orange with ciammon.

We, a retired couple, stayed at this Riad for one night in September. The hotel is located in the pedestrian-only Medina, but someone met us at the drop-off point outside the walls and carried our bags to the hotel. The central courtyard is ornately decorated and acts as the front desk and hotel restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful, although most spoke Arabic, bits or French or bits of Spanish and little or no English. Friendly gestures and smiles worked wonders. Our room was actually in a smaller Riad annex across the narrow laneway. The room consisted of a sitting area overlooking the interior courtyard, with a large bathroom off one end and a comfortable well air-conditioned room (with comfortable bed) off the other. Everything that we wanted to see was close by, including both the old Medina and the newer colonial town. We had an enjoyable dinner in the Riad’s restaurant, which was licensed for beer and wine. Breakfast was more than ample and, for a reasonable price, the kitchen packed us a takeaway lunch for our onward bus ride
