I stayed in Hilton Alexandria Corniche during a short business/pleasure trip. The hotel is in a prime location, across the street from the beach. I booked a room with sea view. Upon arrival I asked for a room on a higher floor. The sea view is magnificent, but I could hear car noise from the very busy corniche street.
Unfortunately, I have been informed by more than one hotelier that the hotel systemically segregates among guests and decide if the guest will be assigned a higher floor room. If this turns to be true, the hotel should revise such a policy.
The room is spacious with a big toilet. Both are nicely decorated and loaded. The room has a king size bed and a flat screen TV. It seemed to me that the hotel can use some renovations. The doors are kind of old, but not so bad. But my main issue was room power consumption. I think a lot of energy is wasted unnecessarily and this can be avoided by using the room card to switch power on only when the guest is in the room.
Breakfast is served buffet style. It is very rich with wide variety of food. No matter what your buds craves, most probably you will find something that will satisfy your taste. From traditional Egyptian food, continental breakfast, “healthy choices”, and a wide variety of breads, savory and sweet pastries the list goes on.
On the negative side, coffee cups had a greenish tinge at the bottom of the cup. The chef explained to me that these cups go through repeated cycles of intense washing cycles and sterilization every day. As the cup grows older it develops these spots. Regardless of anything I would not drink coffee in a stained cup no matter how sterile or clean is it.
This 5star hotel lacked bath robe and slippers that I could find even in some of the 4star hotels. I am sure that the hotel has a very good reason for that.
In short, I enjoyed my 1 day stay in Hilton Corniche Alexandria. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sea view is grand. I will not hesitate to repeat this experience on my next visit to Alexandria to explore other facilities and entertainment programs that I was not able to follow because of time limitations after making sure that the hotel does not segregate among guests for any reason.

An extremely friendly welcome upon arrival from the smiley security team who scanned the car registration. Then I was directed to park by the hotel for the valet service to take care of parking the car.
Hygiene and security are taken seriously from the moment of arrival and on each time going in/out of the hotel.
Professional welcome by the receptionist who cross-checked my information and booking and courteously was given a sea view room which made my stay.
Parking cost/night is 150 EGP which is acceptable.
Rooms are clean and though it is a bit small, the balcony is big enough to enjoy the view, lovely weather of Alexandria and have a hot drink.
The room had extra masks & gloves and was marked with a "Clean Stay" one-time-use sticker on the door for extra assurance of how seriously hygiene and cleanliness are being taken.
My stay was short so I did not experience the daily cleaning as it was one night only.
Dining was not experienced in the hotel .
I would definitely go back ❤

This is my 3rd stay at Hilton Alexandria Corniche, 1st after COVID-19, and still this hotel one of my favorite spots around the world & best hotel in Alexandria. I enjoyed every stay there starting from the very first step in the hotel. All staff are welcoming & smiling starting from concierge & security to the front desk. Since COVID-19, I was deciding not to travel at all but due to urgent work situation, I traveled to Alex & I was surprised with the level of cleanliness & safety measures they are taking in Hilton Alexandria Corniche. Hand sanitizers are available everywhere, masks are available at rooms & restaurants, contactless check in & check out, so I felt safe during my whole stay. Staff was amazing, welcoming me with wonderful smile all the time & ready to help at any point. The check in was very quick with great response to my requirements, the check out as well. Restaurant was really a surprise for me, staff helped in everything while covered with masks & gloves & no one is allowed to touch any food, restaurant staff served all guests with very quick & efficient way ... always with smile. Food was great I enjoyed it a lot. This visit made me trustful in restarting my travel again & will always keep Hilton Alex Corniche as my favorite hotel in Alex. Great location The room was tidy and very clean however it was missing some amenities upon checking in and we had to ask for it.
The view from the room overlooking the sea was amazing.
It has a private beach in front of the Hotel where a small car takes you there.
The pool is a bit small.
Staff are very friendly.
Our room cones with free water, coffee and tea supplies but we had to call everyday to ask for them and they wouldn’t come unless we asked
Breakfast was good but a bit over priced.
Dinner at the main restaurant was not very good without much varieties and it did’t taste good, in addition my son found a small piece of glass in his food and we reported this to the waiter who came and took it in silence without even apologizing, but later we were offered an apology from the chef and F&B manager when we reported the incident on our way out of the restaurant.
Food at The Greek restaurant tasted nice but it was overpriced.
We also tried room service but our food came cold and tasteless and we had to return it to be reheated and ask to add some salt to taste.
Be aware that prices doesn’t include taxes and service charge which are almost 25% more on top of prices of booking and food
In general the location is very good, facilities such as private beach, pool etc. are also good but I would’t advice eating there except of having breakfast and better to have the freedom to have lunch and dinner somewhere else.

Everything was just perfect during my stay. The staff was exceptionally professional, helpful and welcoming. Jackline at the reception took care of all our requests and made sure our stay was comfortable. The rooms offer a breathtaking view of the sea... specially in the upper floors starting from the 6th floor. The rooms are clean and comfy. The pool is very nice overlooking the sea and it's heated on Thursdays and Fridays ..... They offer an open buffet for breakfast with a wide variety of options. The hotel location is very convenient, it also offers a private underground parking....which is a very important option as the surrounding area is very crowded. The hotel also has a private beach with a playing area for kids and there is a shuttle bus that can transfer guests from the hotel to the beach.

It was a solo traveler vacation just for relaxing. And as expected from a brand like Hilton, it really met my expectations. A hassle free from everything from the beginning.
Valet parking upon arriving, Check-in was easy, receptionist provided multi options , and i chose the most convenient, high floor (7th) with a direct sea view.
Room space was OK for a solo, view from the balcony was marvelous. Went for a walk at night, lot's of good restaurants nearby, found a seafood one with a good Google reviews.
For the beach, you feel the privacy, especially when you look at the nearby hell crowded public beach. However, the sea itself is not clean (full of Garbage), although the team is making a great efforts to clean it , but of course it's a mission impossible. They should implement an engineered solution for this issue. Life guard is fully attentive & gives a good instructions before you start swimming.
For the food, i ordered an in-room breakfast from the room service. A good variety & taste as well, especially the falafel plate. (Just a remark , i had a difficulty to order as all room phones needs to be fixed).
Didn't try the pool as it was full of kids & i tried to avoid the noisy places. So, the beach was more convenient for me. The beach access requires to pass the road, but the hotel provides a shuttle bus to & from the beach. (Good Point).
What i didn't like is the parking fees, 150L.E per day. I think this shouldn't exist either for them or any other hotel. It should be complimentary.
Overall, the staff is very friendly & doing a great efforts to please the guests. Which i think it's the key success of this hotel.

Hi Susan, it is not a problem at the Hilton Corniche with its own beach. Also I don’t think it is a problem at the pool either…but the pool area is quite small, so I never went there.
Enjoy this lovely hotel…
