Well, let me just say that my experience at this hotel was less than acceptable. Upon checkin for a prepaid room for two people we were informaed that I could not share a room with my long time Tunisian friend and that we would have to pay for two room at a ridiculous price.

Not much of a view from the room
in my opinion i dont think it will be very hot, ive been to tunisia so many times, the best time to go and for the hottest time is august. :) but it is a brilliant hotel! you have everything in the one spot, beach, pools, waterslides, restaurant, shops etc :)

How much is it to use the waterpark as an outside guest?
The food was satisfactory. There was plenty of choice, but you must remember you are not in Europe. The potatoes are not the same. They will have several choices at every meal. There was lots of chicken and lamb with a small bit of beef. There were plenty of salad items at every meal. Eggs are scarce however and you won't get your usual fry up - no sausages, rashers or pudding. We're not very fussy and found something to eat at every meal - we were never hungry. We thought it was worth the price to go 1/2 board and go out to restaurants for a few meals when we wanted something different. There is a good Italian a couple of doors up from the hotel and an American style steak house across the street. Eating out at restaurants can be expensive every evening though.

I think Daniih 15 above has answered most of your queries. I would just add that you can go to Port ElKantoui for a few dinar in a taxi. They've lots of cafes. There are restaurants all around Sousse and I heard many good reports for the Italian next door to the hotel, the Saloon restaurant across the road and the coffee place with deserts across the road as well. Did find the drinks very watered down so if this is a worry drink elsewhere or bring your own to top them up. Beer / wine is fine. The hotel was good, the room was lovely and the staff were super so have a great time!
