ET Hotel was cheap...... for a reason. Construction was taking place whilst staying there. The hotel's construction was very disruptive. It would start at 6am; right outside the 'window' in our room. There was no ventilation in the room; and the noise was totally disruptive. The water pressure in the shower was good. Wifi was horrible.

I stayed here for two nights in December 2014 after seeing the write up in the Lonely Planet. I paid $12 a night for a room with a shared bathroom. On the night of my arrival they upgraded me to a room with a bathroom as all the ones without were booked, a nice gesture although they insisted I move... More

We have checked 4 other hotels before checking in at et hotel. This hotel was the best out of the for. Rooms were clean, hot shower, wifi was relatively ok for myanmar standards. Beds were fine.No windows in any room though which seems to be normal in Myanmar in the bigger cities. Staff was helpful carrying my suitcase up to... More

We spent three nights in the rooftop rooms of this hotel (the cheapest), and the bad point of this hotel is the price ...20USD...that's after Yangon the most expensive room we paid and the quality of the room is just ok. The room was huge with one bed at 4 meters from the other :-) and we had one fan... More

Basic hotel situated quite central in mandalay. Let us check in for half price room because our night bus was late. However the guy in morning was quite reluctant in giving for half the bus being late not out fault. Basic breaky. Staff quite helpful with information.

This hotel reflects pretty much the roughness of Mandalay in some parts. This hotel could easily be found in countries like Bangladesh or some sort. The hotel provides everything to survive but not more. The rooms are ok. The breakfast is of uncertain quality and the WiFi is only available at the reception hall. For 2 nights this is still... While I liked the hotel and staff but could not recommend it, the top floor budget rooms have a great terrace for a relaxing in the day, but at night the Chinese and Indian guests liked to sit with the room doors open and shout at each other all night long, they also cook and shout on the terrace by... We stayed here a couple of times and had a good experience. It's good value, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The room had air con, TV, and towels and loo roll were provided, none of which are a given at this price bracket. The bed was decent and comfortable, with fresh sheets every day. The attached bathroom... More

Dropped by ET hotel looking for a room. We are two people and were shown the $20 and $25 rooms. The cheaper are on the roof, have no a/c, a shared bathroom, are small and looked pretty shabby. We forked out the extra $5 for a room on the 3rd floor...and it was totally worth it. Freshly renovated, clean, bright,... More
