This hotel seemed impressive from the foyer, but that's where it ended. Staff were efficient and friendly. Room was quite large, but we had a large neon light outside our window, so even with the curtains shut it was still bright during the night. Breakfast was minimal with not a great selection. It was located within easy walking distance of...

We stayed here for two nights, but only because we could not get anywhere else in the city. Whilst the front desk staff were friendly, and the breakfast passable, the rooms and corridors are absolutely awful. The carpets are incredibly dirty and stained, the fixtures (bath taps, toilet seats) are falling to pieces. Do not stay here if you can...

Dear Ukinny, Thank you for your precious time to write a review to us. It was great to hear that you satisfied upon our staff's service and our breakfast. But we are sorry to hear that you are not happy with our facilities. But now we are already renovated and changed our requirements. We want to apologize for your inconvenient...

An inexpensive choice for a good location in Mandalay. The hotel is modern, as are the rooms. They are however, compact. Breakfast is included; mostly Asian fare; I liked it. The Queen is about a 5 minute walk to the train station. It is also convenient to a great selection of restaurants and shops.

The Hotel Queen is downtown and there is a taxi rank outside which is useful. But all the sights are way up town and the taxis were expensive There was a mix up with our booking but the staff could not have been more helpful in sorting it out. They spoke good English and reconfirmed our booking for the next flight....

The room was simple - but good. TV with CNN. Wifi only worked in the lobby. Breakfast only served Asian food - but was good quality. The hotel restaurant was quite good - but a little pricey. Go to the Shwe Khaaing Barbeque on 33rd Street (100m away) for very good cheap asian / Thai food.

Theere's nothing really bad about the Queen Hotel. There are some renovations going on at the moment - so there is a smell of paint is some areas. The rooms are simple yet comfortable. The staff are helpful. There is free wi-fi throughout the hotel. The breakfast was pretty poor, especially for vegetarians (not much on the dinner menu either)...

This hotel is extremely average by western standards, but you have to remember you are in Myanmar. The rooms were basic and clean. I asked for two twin rooms for my sons as they were not keen to share beds, and stupidly did not check the price beforehand. Anyway, whilst a double is $35 a night, the twin rooms were...

I arrived EXHAUSTED after a bus trip from Inle Lake at 4.30 am (my confirmed flight was cancelled). They kindly checked me in at 7am so I got two hours rest before my day. The hotel had the best bath, shower and hot water in Myanmar - and it worked!!! Very clean, no mosquito bites and the decor was not...
