Great location, yes you could hear people in the other rooms, however this was not an issue when we stayed as people where quiet, and respectful of each other. As we where out and about every day the rooms being dark was not something that bothered us. The courtyard area was lovely to sit in, we had a very good...

Clean guesthouse and friendly helpful owner. I want to say that upfront in case you don't read to the end of my review! I have to be honest I hated it here when I first arrived. My first impressions were effected by first being sent to stay a night in the Villa Chitdara next door as the toilet in my...

I read great reviews, so I booked this accommodation. Before we arrived a few people had written some scathing reviews. I have to say that we did not have any issues whatsoever staying here. We were met at the airport by Le, the manager's son. His English was limited but we managed to communicate. The guesthouse is in a perfect...

We stayed five nights here and really liked the location. It's close to the Night and Morning Markets and is one of the streets the monks walk on in the early morning. We had a room on the end of the building so we had windows on two sides which was good because the room is dark. The wood paneling...

This was our second visit to delightful Luang Prabang. This hotel was a disappointing choice. Location is excellent and it has a very nice 1st floor verandah with seating and colonial atmosphere with wood panelled rooms. However walls are paper thin beware of noisy guests in adjoining rooms! No need for an alarm clock as the early morning dawn chorus...

I loved this little place. Second time in LP, but first time at the Wooden House. I would stay here again. My friend said his room was a little too dark for him, but I was on a corner and found it ok. The Hotelier was a lovely man – he and all his staff greeted us very warmly on...

Good location. Bad experience. Walls like paper. Could hear everything from next room. Including the elderly German couple being so loud waking our baby daughter up. Then hearing them after they woke us all up having sex. Room and a show lol. Didn't get 1 nights sleep hear. Breakfast poor as well. Manager tried his hardest to make it better....

My partner and I stayed here for four nights, and whilst we absolutely fell in love with the city, we did not love the hotel. The hotel had confirmed a car to pick us up at the airport, but no one ever came for us. It was extremely disappointing. After getting a taxi, we arrived at the hotel to one...

Upon arrival the bath mat in the bathroom was dirty. The room was dark and lacked space to put a suitcase. We agreed we could probably live with this, but Chinese moved into the hotel on our second night. Doors slamming all night long. TV blaring at 3am. The staff are sweet and probably great to drink a beer with,...
