If you like backpacker accomodation in heritage style, this is the place to stay. Unfortunately it did not appeal to us. We had the rooms on the groundfloor, which were dark. smelly and overall unpleasant. The only great thing was the powerful and hot shower! Lots of stray dogs barking all night and you hear every flush from any toilet...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. Taste varies and apparently our small guesthouse did not fit yours. We are sorry for that and are a bit wondering about a breakfast not worth mentioning that was not even tried. We inform our guests that it is of a simpler continental variety, but nevertheless it contains, 2 eggs any style, grilled...

Came across this guesthouse whilst roaming the streets looking for a room (everything booked out!). Everything was beautifully presented and sparkling clean. The complimentary coffee was delicious, we ended up buying beans. The upstairs room were more expensive and included breakfast. We paid 45USD and it didnt include breakfast, which I thought was not exactly fair. Way above our budget...

Dear Sophie, Thank you very much for your review! We are glad that you like our small guest house and that the complimentary Lao Mountain Coffee was to your liking! The price is a bit higher than other guest houses as you say, but so is also the standard and we are happy that you also noted the effort put...

Pack Luck Villa is a guest house with plenty of charm. Located in a quiet but still central spot near the Mekong River, just down from Villa Santi, it faces Le Elepahnt French Restaurnat, a temple, a cultural centre. The better rooms cost $65 which includes a continental breakfast. Room 3 upstairs is an attractively decorated double and possibly the...

Stayed here for one night, booked a twin but said that it was already taken upon arrival. Double room was nice but very noisy. Water pump was going off all night and was generally noisy even with ear plugs. They lock the doors at night as well so when we arrived back we couldn't get in. Was stood banging on...

Lovely people working there but they locked the doors at 9.30 which was really frustrating as we enjoyed the night markets And having a few beers, more for families maybe.don't stay if you enjoy nightlife, we are not on a budget but it wasn't worth the money we paid.

The place is very cute and the location is absolutely great. The monks pass by for Taking Bat 10 meters away from the main entrance. We stayed 2 nights because we wanted to rest a bit which was perfect for my girlfriend but I had troubles. The windows in the room #3 do not have glass to cover the noise...

The mother and daughter was very friendly. The rooms had a nice verandah, and were very clean. Breakfast was two eggs and bread. The villa is very cute and in a great location. Would stay there again.

... but the rooms are quite small and the price is high when you take into consideration the room size, the service and the breakfast (which you have to wait for....). Location wise is really good, you can go to your balcony in the morning and you can see the alms ritual (on their way back to the temple). Quiet...

My husband and I stayed in LP for four nights for both work and pleasure. Our choice to stay at Pack Luck Villa, centrally located near both the main road, monk's morning passage, and a block from the river was an excellent one due to the guest room's affordability, cleanliness, friendly service at the Villa and charm of the Lao...

I stayed here with a few friends during Songkran season in April of 2013. We arrived very early in the morning (6am) having not booked anything, longing for the bed when we stumbled upon this charming guesthouse. The owner was very friendly and invited us right in to look at the rooms which were so comfortable and clean, best nights...
