The Luang Say Residence is a very nice hotel made in an old, French colonial style. There is a good restaurant and a big swimming-pool. The hotel has a lot of vegetation, you can admire the look and wonderfull smell of some beautiful flowers. The room is big, clean and comfortable. The hotel provides shuttlebuses to the centre of the town...

We stayed 2 nights at the Luang Say Residence. It had a definite French Colonial flavor to it. The rooms were tastefully done. The quality of the towels in the bathroom was a little inferior to other places we stayed in and it was difficult to get new towels on our second day, even though we put our towels in...

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff couldent do enough for us...always trying to help and suggest places to visit. We were in Luang Prabang for the half marathon, and stayed in one of the Pioneer Suites for two nights. The room was beautiful, with colonial-style furniture and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The bar/library in the main house is a very nice place to sit and read and work. The setting of the hotel is fantastic -- quiet,...

The service of the staff from start to finish is top notch. The intimacy of the resort and its jungle setting is an oasis. The pioneer suites are fabulous. And the food is outstanding. My only criticism is some of the drink prices are outrageous especially in Laos....$25us for a cosmopolitan. Really?

Very nice location. Very well decorated colonial hotel. Nice room. Quiet. Wonderful garden and pool. Close to the center (and free shuttle to the center). Note that the city is very small and you can get anywhere in 10 min by tuk tuk. Excellent breakfast

In our opinion, we stayed at the best resort we have been in around Asia. We cannot complain anything about the service because it is perfect from the moment we checked in, to the check out, and we are picky guests looking at details. Everything about the service, surroundings and comfort are outstanding. Breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant amazing, the...
