We spent four nights in the hotel. We had the explorator suite, extremely spacious with a wide terrasse and an enormous bathroom. The room comes with complementary afternoon tea which was delicious. The hotel is very classy, in colonial style, very good sober taste. The breakfast is very very rich. Bycicles available to guest plus free transfer to town are...

My husband and I stayed at the Luang Say Residence as part of our honeymoon. We were only supposed to stay there for two nights and then fly to Phukett but we loved the hotel and the town so much that we decided to stay longer. Santi extended our stay and helped us change our tickets. He even booked a...

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in July. A truly beautiful old colonial French style hotel, beautiful grounds, umbrellas and shade around the pool, very peaceful. Breakfast was excellent, especially the Eggs Benedict. A suggestion for people that stay for longer periods of time, perhaps you could say that you can spend up to $US25 on your breakfast...

This hotel is very nice. I did not spend too much time researching it, I just went by the TripAdvisor rating. My first thought was that it didn't seem to be very much like the 'hero' picture taken over the pool. Instead the hotel is spread out over several old colonial style buildings. My room was very large and the...

We stayed in one of the suites for a week -and could not have been happier with the hotel, its location and its ambiance. The hotel itself is perfectly staffed with superb rooms, excellent food, beautiful grounds and a really stunning pool. This being our first time coming to Laos, we were a little unsure about what we'd find but...

Love this place. The food is amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Staff are friendly and lovely. Only problem is that the pool temperature is a little too warm. Rooms are lovely. Beautiful big bathroom, comfy king size bed. We stayed in a suite. The building are French colonial style and there is a lively bar. Would definitely recommend...

After traveling around the Indochina countries for several weeks, arriving at a place that transports you in time while giving you the opportunity to experience an oasis in the desert is invaluable. Perfect hotel. Perfect staff. Perfect service. The eggs benedict for breakfast is a must. Can't miss a dip in the pool after a hard hot day touring around....
