We throughly enjoyed or stay at the Santi Resort. The setting is beautiful, the staff wonderful and we had the best massages of our trip. The food is good, but not great. Take advantage of the tuk tuk into town then return to the quiet of the resort.

Santi resort was an oasis. Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were attentive and the meal we had and the breakfasts were great. It was out of town but we used the shuttle and if the time didn't suit (didn't run often enough) we caught a tuk tuk which cost the equivalent of about US$3.00. The grounds were impressive...

The hotel is indeed pretty far from the city center, but the return is beautiful view with a calm surroundings far away from all the hubbub of the city. I was there for a meeting in December 2014 and stayed there for 3-4 days. PRO TIP: pack lots of sweaters and shawls during this month because although Laos is in...

The location is very beautiful, the swimming pool fantastic, the food very good. Although a bit far from town, they have a shuttle, or one can get there very easy in tuk tuk. And after a day of activities, coming back to the hotel was wonderful. Highly recommend it.

We stayed here for 3 nights. It is a beautiful peaceful setting. The rooms are comfortable. The internet worked most of the time. Water pressure isn't great but the surrounding make up for it. The pool is huge. We took advantage of the shuttle bus especially for the night markets. We holidayed over the water festival and when there wasn't...

We stayed for 3 nights in early April 2016. This was by some margin our favourite hotel of our trip (where all the hotels were good) not because of the functional side but because of the environment of the hotel. Our room (703) was on the ground floor of the furthest block from the main reception / bar / restaurant...

The grounds are fabulous but that is where the good points stop unfortunately. The Hotel is said to be 3k outside Luang Prabang but it felt a lot more than that - there is a free shuttle into town but only runs a few time a day. The first room we were given (room 303) was very grubby - the...

Hotel is outside the town and you do need a shuttle transport (hotel provides one free of charge), but the location is on the beautiful grounds. Clean and sizeable room, good breakfast, really enjoyable stay.

The hotel is a little intimidating at first for being a little far away from the city center. It also has some technical problems, including heating, air conditioning and internet, but there has been progress over the years. The resort is in the countryside, but there is a free shuttle to the city which runs sometimes at inconvenient times. The...

A colonial style hotel set in spacious grounds on the outskirts of town but with a courtesy bus operating several times a day to the parent hotel in town. Rooms very large and reasonably well equipped. However, all of our group of 7 had problems with hot water supply or toilet faults, necessitating two couples having to change rooms. Some...
