Very close to riverfront and all other major attractions. The guest rooms are clean and comfortable. Water pressure bit low but if improved will be great. Breakfast is good. Staff are very friendly. Will stay here again.

Very close to the riverfront as well as the main street and all the attractions, Pakhongthong Guesthouse was very comfortable. I stayed for 6 nights, and slept great each night because the bed was comfortable and a/c worked well. Excellent shower with plenty of hot water, 2 bottles of complimentary water each day, and room was immaculate, and cleaned on...

I stayed here for two nights and I was satisfied with my stay. Rooms are decent size, have a desk for working, and have enough lights (my constant complaint in many of the hotels where you don’t have enough light to read and work in the evening)! It had all the necessities of a comfortable stay - toiletries, air-conditioning, safe, room for luggage, fridge with drinks and chips you could purchase. We stayed for two nights. The only criticism we had was that the bed was very hard (I don't...

We stayed there 3 nights in December, 4 rooms - 2 on the first floor and 2 on the second. The location is great, right in the middle of town, a few minutes away from the Mekong, temples, markets and a lot of restaurants; but also on the route of the monk procession in the mornings so really special place....

We stayed here for four nights December 2014, having moved from another hotel on the outskirts of town that we found not suitable. We cancelled our stay there. Walking around Luang Prabang we found many hotels and guest houses with vacancies. Not yet peak season. We looked at three and choose this one. Its newly built and in a great...
