We had a great stay here. It's only a 15min walk into town and the night market. The hotel is picturesque and has small charming enclaves. The pool is a great respite from the heat. We had the room above the library which worked out well since we were traveling with a young child. The service wasn't bad but as...

We stayed at Satri House for 3 nights at the end of our Laos trip. The hotel rooms are beautifully refurbished and full of antiques (and have modern showers & A/C!). Rooms fumigated every night too to get rid of mosquitos. Lovely pool to relax in and little poolside bar. Free bikes on offer to explore the city and the...

We chose this hotel because of its history, it was the childhood home of the youngest prince of Laos. A good and safe 10-15min walk to riverside and restaurants and bars. Wifi was really good throughout the whole hotel. Gianni the new manager was always around the hotel grounds if you needed any help. Staff here are really helpful; one...

Dear Charmaine, I am touched by your kindness. Was a pleasure to have you both around the hotel, you brought joy to the staff, everyone was saying how nice you both are. As for the hotel more tune up on the way including a pillow menu and a nice room valet list, including a large movies selection just in case...

We booked to stay here for the final four nights of our trip to Vietnam and Laos. We had been hoping for a quiet and peaceful place to rest after sight seeing. Across the road from the hotel is a public field/park and all the time we were there, a fair was taking place, with extremely loud music, mostly karaoke....

Dear RufusZach, I perfectly remember the market fair in near area and the party at near by restaurant that you could hear from the pool. For the near by restaurant we managed to have a friendly talk by some connection and so far we didn't had any more noise coming from that side. I am sorry you had to experience...

Everything was impeccably done, from the service to the decor to the food. The hotel itself is stunning, and every nook and cranny is perfectly curated- it must be an interior designer's dream. Everyone who worked at the hotel, from the front desk staff to the manager, were incredibly gracious and welcoming. Truly one of the most incredible places I've...

The Satri House is situated a short walk from the centre of Luang Prabang in a quiet area so ideal to experience the quiet atmosphere of this wonderful town. A converted colonial house, Satri has two pools (one a lap pool) two sitting/sunbathing areas, full restaurant facilities and a separate cocktail bar. There is art everywhere including a whole wall...

This is an outstanding small boutique hotel off beaten bath in LPQ. The devil is in the detail of every aspect of its modern colonial design aesthetic. I loved the wonderful restaurant offering both Cambodian and French cuisine (The gazpacho is amazing). And BTW, the Satri offers all the extras you'd expect; comfy beds, strong reliable WiFi, pool, free bikes,...

What a super hotel. The moment you arrive you can tell the place has style. The staff are very welcoming (Keo was particularly helpful) and if you book through Mr and Mrs Smith you get a free massage. The spa is great with all treatments reasonably priced. The common areas are decorated very nicely - makes you feel like it's...

Satri House in Luang Prabang is a terrific hotel. Colonial architecture and Indochinese furnishings are lovely, and the placement of Buddhist and Hindu statuary throughout the grounds provides serenity. The rooms are spacious, pool is a lovely area, and the restaurant is especially good. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Top notch!
