This was a special 2 day stay in the "jungle" .. our individual bungalow accommodation was so private and comfortable and we particularly loved the outdoor shower. The staff were charming and the food in the open all day restaurant was just great. Right on the Nahm Khan river opposite an elephant camp made it very interesting too and just...

I only stay one night in these resort that for the moment have an agreement with Elephant Village. Amazing place, vert big spaces, so close to nature, everything neat and aired. Don't expect luxury and flats tv and airco, this is a place that try to give maximum confort but to stay in touch with your surroundings. What a good...

We stayed here as a family of five in two bungalows for one night as part of our trip to the Elephant Village. The bungalows were delightful, made of teak with huge glass windows/sliding doors overlooking the river, with a large balcony with comfortable chairs. Rooms were large and spotlessly clean. Mosquito nets and fans are provided. This is a...

We were recommended this place by friends who had stayed many years ago and loved the tranquility. Having come from Cambodia via Luang Prabang during the busy Pii Mai holiday, where being ambushed by locals throwing buckets of ice water was a matter of routine, we were somewhat wired on arrival and took a while to unwind. This place is...

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lao Spirit. It is a very special place set a few minutes outside LP. The wood design is eye catching and makes you feel as if you're in an exotic film. You can see elephants bathing in the river which is a great way to pass the afternoon. The food is also delicious! Highly...

We had high expectations but they were surpassed in reality. The whole feel of this place is very special. We went for two days, and wished we had spent more time. An absolute oasis of calm, a room with a beautiful river view, a wonderful village with delicious noodle soup near by, and the most warm, friendly staff. Watch out for the Elephant Village close to the resort - very touristy, but completely avoidable. This is a place to...

Very friendly reception by Jenny. Large rooms and outside showers with hot water. Lovely balcony overlooking the Khan river. Lots of electricity plugs to load your various batteries. Signage is absent, so one may get lost in the resort. The food is good, but not matching LP cuisine. Trek & canoe is a great 5 hours experience.

When arriving we were surprised by the spacious bungalows overlooking the river and an outdoor shower with blue tiles. We felt diving into the jungle of Laos and leaving the relative busy town of Luang Prabang. The evenings were pleasant overlooking the river and watching an ever changing landscape. The restaurant food was excellent and offers a nice variety between...
