The Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel is celebrated for its prime location near the Ibn Batuta Mall and metro, providing a mix of tranquility and convenience for shopping and transport. Guests often compliment the hotel's amenities, including the well-appointed rooms, pool, and gym. The spacious and modern rooms are generally well-received, although there are occasional remarks about cleanliness and room preparation. While the hotel is considered a good value, some guests suggest improvements for the breakfast offerings. The lively pool atmosphere, complete with music and DJs, is a hit for many but can be a drawback for those seeking peace. The service is frequently lauded for staff friendliness, yet some call for enhanced consistency. Overall, cleanliness is a strong point, with a few mentions of sporadic oversights.

The staff is very friendly, especially the housekeepers on the 16th floor, laundry is perfect and special thanks to Madhu Parasada Khaini. The rooms are very clean and I like that I can open the window to have fresh air. For me is important if you stay in the same place for many days.

We registered in this hotel to visit the Expo 2020 and to take a few of Oceania Travel Tours, since it was one of their pick-up locations. The hotel is right by the Battuta Mall, a beautiful themed shopping space with all the amenities we could ever want or need. The hotel is also across the street from the Battuta Metro Station, something extremely convenient for attending the Expo 2020 and for visiting all attractions within the reach the ultramodern Dubai Metro system, including the Dubai International Airport. We reserved a room with a daily breakfast buffet that was very good and diverse. They even have a very convenient offer we added to our room in order to be able to have 4 pieces of laundry done every day at a very reasonable price. The rooms were modern and clean. The personnel very attentive, in particular Kifayat, who always trying to anticipate our needs.

The Avani Ibn Battuta in Dubai is a nice modern hotel and all.the staff are welcoming and friendly.

The rooms are nicely appointed and there are reasonable size. There is a comfortable bed and pillows and a desk and chair and a sofa to relax on. There's a large LCD TV but unfortunately Irani has a limited range of channels.

There's a separate shower which only has average water pressure and a separate toilet room.

They advertise with a fridge but it's nota fridge  it's one.of those.glass front coolers which is useless and barely keeps things cooler than room.temp which is ridiculous in this climate.

They offer bathrobes and slippers and tea & coffee making facilities, a room safe and shampoo and conditioner but no dental kits.

The Wi-Fi in the rooms is terrible and drops out regularly and is substandard and annoying. You try to watch u tube on the TV and it freezes regularly and so badly you have to turn off the TV and even that is difficult once everything freezes so it's very annoying.

The hotel has a nice big pool with a kids pool at one end. There is ample sun lounges with padding and a pool deck and bar and a large screen which they display sports on.

The food prices are expensive and the drinks are very expensive like over $20 for 1 sri k so who would bother. Far better to go to the shopping mall next door for a far wider range and cheaper options.

The Hotel is right next to the large IBN Battuta shopping mall where there is a large range of high end shopping outlet's, a massive supermarket and a substancial food court.

The Ibn Battuta train station is directly across from the hotel which gives easy access around Dubai.  There is also a major bus interchange right next to the hotel which provides local buses including bus services direct to Abu Dhabi

Despite the few faults the hotel is modern and is a good Hotel and I would have no problem staying here again

It’s a brand new property but rooms and corridor are so filthy dirty. Inside room so dusty and I believe never vacuum and mop. Moreover I almost to step on a nail on the carpet. Towels are never washed after purchase because after shower I used it all the towel fibers sticking on the body. During my booking reservation agent Jehan from Pakistan promised me my price included breakfast and welcome fruits which is never received. I went to had breakfast Hostess ask room number and said you included for breakfast package and enjoy your breakfast. While having breakfast she returned back again to table and said you don’t include breakfast you have to pay. I said as per Reservation and Frount desk team I’m included for breakfast then her answer was “ How come it’s not in the list if you want check the list “ very bad unprofessional low class service. However I had pay for the breakfast but never received the cheque copy. She received the money given the change, very suspicious. Important during rainy day don’t check in this hotel every where water leaking sealing fellas on corridor. Hotel reputation is very important it’s starting with greetings but non of them greeted , room layout very poor cloth wardrobe in the bathroom all the shower steam wet the clothes very poor selection of TV channels no English news channel. Overall my point of view its waste of money stay right now,They are not ready yet as a new hotel to serve guests. They need tons of improvement and training without that I doubt it.

The AVANI Ibn Battuta Hotel Dubai is a modern hotel and it is opposite the Ibn Battuta MTR train station. It is a 1 hour journey by train from Dubai airport to the Ibn Battuta Station which is on the red line.

The check in was efficient and the hotel is modern and adjacent to a large shopping mall.

Unfortunately I found a couple of the female reception staff to be extremely rude and unprofessional and so belligerent that one might take the opinion they were prejudice against white people. I did ask to speak to the manger and was again spoken to rudely and I went to my room and called and spoke with a supervisor who was professional and apologized and offered me a late check out for the inconvenience that I experienced, which I thank him for that.

The rooms are an average size and are modern with tea and coffee making facilities and an LCD TV which has a very poor selection of English speaking channels.

The WiFi is poor and tends to drop out quite a bit.

There is a couch and a desk and a bar fridge which doesn't keep things very cold & you can not change the temperature.

The bed is reasonably comfortable and the bathroom is compact but has a separate shower and toilet. They provide bathrobes and slippers.

The shower has a rainfall shower head and a hand held wand. The shower was one of the best I have ahd in over 60 hotels, the pressure from the hand held wand is excellent, such a good shower.

There is a large outdoor area with a swimming pool, plenty of sun lounges and a pool bar, (not a swim up bar).

Its not a bad hotel and I would say its ok for a couple of nights stay but there are many alternatives with better service available.

Has to be the worst the stay I have had in Dubai, this definitely is not a 4* hotel by Dubai standards:
Aside from the systems being down which was out of their control, the Residents offer i booked offered a complimentary upgrade (the hotel was not full), when I checked on this I was told it just meant a higher floor😒
First room I checked into clearly had not been cleaned, dust on all surfaces, hair by the hair dryer and oh bugs!
Tiny bugs in the wardrobe area, around the sink and by the towels
Informed reception who sent someone to 'clean' the area
Had to insist on moving room, took 20 mins before a response came so had to go down to reception to complain - poor customer service.
So I'm moved from the 18th to 17th floor, told it was cleaned as someone had just left;
Took a shower, dirt and hair floating on the floor
THE SAME BUGS IN THE BED! Disgusting.
Knowing that every room was probably the same i asked for them to change the sheets, this allowed for a night's sleep at least.
Breakfast is OK, on the first day staff were uninspiring, the second day the staff were very helpful.
Ordered room service from Missippi one night spoke to 2 different people who were not aware if Pad Thai was on their own menu or not🤣🤣, but the portions were good and food was tasty.

Considering the hotel is not even a year old the finishing is terrible, it has not been well maintained. Each time I stepped out my room there is just dirt and mess all over the carpet or stained tiles.

Oh and then strange men loitering around the floors or in the lobby sitting with their bare feet on the public couches playing with their feet.....just gross.

Upon check out was approached by the Ops Manager who was apologetic and offered a complimentary stay which I declined given the above experience. Was grateful for the offer but not one I would take up.

Needless to say I won't be returning.

Very cheap monthly stay, but no evident hotel management in place, so lack health and safety and cleanliness in place.
I had to complain multiple times about the housekeeping staff cleaning rooms without masks on, but there was never a manager on staff, so had to just tell reception staff who seemed powerless to help. The restaurant manager also frequently was serving drinks without a mask on, so if management are doing that I am not surprised.
We were here for business sorting out a Visa but contacted covid whilst isolating in quarantine in the room. On arrival the room was dirty with filthy bedside tags, so I am not surprised at all.
It's definitely a party hotel, with drunk people in the lifts without masks at the weekend, and a pool bar that has really loud DJ playing til like 1am in the weekdays and 3am on the weekends, even if the pool bar is empty.
A good place for 18 year old essex chavs to stay that are immune to covid. Pretty noisey and unsafe for everyone else.

We booked this hotel mainly for the pool but the pool seems to be run separately from the hotel, so beds were regularly saved for non guests and the guests had to sort themselves out. We were asked one day if we would be leaving before 12 as they had a party of 6 booked in and had put someone on 2 of those beds (not ours) they ended up moving 2 females, it is not run professionally at all! No info was given from reception about this. One day we tried to order food but the kitchen was closed until 4.30pm unless you wanted to pay for the buffet. The decking is sinking in certain areas so you have to be careful.
The hotel is clean, nice rooms and close to shops, transport and a large supermarket. I feel more info should be given about how the pool is run either before or on arrival.

The Hotel and the Location are great and well connected with public transportation, taxi and own car for everybody next to IBN Battuta Mall.
The Hotel offers as a 4 Star UAE Rating a lot of amenities and has a Main Hall Cafe Shop as well as a Restaurant and a great 24 Hours Gym on the 3rd Floor - Pool Level.
The Pool Landscape is nice set even though there are currently extreme refurbishments going on as the area got damaged during Holi Parties which should not be acceptable at a 4 Star Hotel. The Pool Bar is nice and attentive.
The Restaurant and the Staff are nice though the setting and the furniture are more remembered at a modern art and cheap company and factory cantine within Europe. The room itself has not created and well equipped by its possible potential and could do soo much better. The breakfast buffet is absolutely good and deserves recognition. It is not European Style and holds 2000 more articles, but it's enough and has a good variation of hot and cold international and local variations for everybody visiting an Arab country.
The Room Flors are accessible by key card only which allowes more safety and security. The floors can also be reached by the Parking Garage.
The rooms and the hall ways on each floor are very clean and offer a warm new wave tone of colors and furniture.
The bathrooms though are quite nice but have too many doors which take away the space. In addition it's not that brilliant to have the bathtub and in front of the bathtub a rainfall shower within the same bathroom area as always everything gets wet and long-term faster wasted for refurbishment. The installation and the walls of the bathroom are not the same quality as with the room itself, it shows there were not too professional staff working on this look and feel and the materials used. In the end it's functional, but it should be a good experience for many years to come and this is in question.
On 17th Floor one of the professional Housekeepers is Samiule, he is very efficient, fast, prompt and polite and tries it's best to accommodate the guests and their needs for the room. The room and the bed are always perfect made and cleaned. He is highly recommended for his services.

Att:Hotel Managmeent - you should consider the updates of renovation and also e sure a better ambiance for the Restaurant. Curtains, nicer lights, better interior and making it more attractive and 4 Star Style.

Hotel is just few steps away from Ibn Battuta Mall. I stayed 6 nights and was great, very helpful staff very fast response, rooms are super cleaned , you can decide whether to stay at pool side or other side, pool side is somehow noisy but for me was acceptable. Breakfast needs many improvements not worth to buy it incase not included in your rate. Pool is very safe although this hotel not very recommended for kids as there is some restrictions for them “ timing “ due to adults parties or gatherings. If you have a car the parking is so easy. Hotel is just few steps from the metro station. Thank You for all the Amazon staff there
