Basic hotel near airpport, large property with lot of rooms, nothing to complaint but mostly suitable for transit passangers for short stay. But far from city, simple room setup clean and reasonable size but nothing great.

I was here for a 11 hour layover and Emirates kindly provided this hotel. Nothing fancy and everything was clean so no complaints. 6 dollars for a sprite though? Shuttle to and from the airport and the evening buffet was free. There was also Wifi in the hotel which was great.

This hotel was okay for a place you need to crash whilst waiting for delayed or cancelled flights. However there are no rooms in the hotel with double beds, the rooms are quite big and spacious. We joined the beds together. Emirates provide the hotel for their customers. The

We've stayed at the Copthorne on 4 occasions, and it's proximity to the airport, 24 hour buffet, and tour service in the lobby makes it so convenient as a respite during a long layover. We travel to Zambia on Emirates and the 14 hour layover gives us a chance for a good rest.

The two hour tour was a total waste of time and money. We drove past items of interest that were indicated on the brochure, at speed, with a 5 minute stop to take photos of an remarkable mosque, the Jumeirah Beach where we could see the Burj Al Arab from afar and and then the Burj Khalifa from across the road. The greatest amount of time, half an hour, on the tour was taken up by a stop over at an empty shopping centre, Saga World, which we were told was a Cultural Centre, where we were taken into a room and offered overly expensive items. On our refusal to purchase, were promptly escorted out to wait in the car park - photos were prohibited, as was browsing. Do not go on this tour, unless you like to pay good money to sit in a car park. It is easier to catch the local rail for next to nothing and make your way into the Burj Khalifa to see it and the fountain, or a taxi to be taken to markets and other more interesting sites!

I would recommend to take a taxi and go around the attractions. taxi drivers are good and they understand the visitors need. The hotel will be able to help you.

Yes, with Emirates over 8 hours and a certain amount of money spent on the flight itself. If you're worried, confirm with Emirates when booking. They're great.
