Rove City Walk strikes a chord with guests for its exceptional value, offering reasonable rates that many find to be a good deal, though a few note the food pricing to be on the higher side. The rooms earn compliments for their cleanliness and comfort, with the Burj Khalifa views being a particular delight, despite some remarks about room size.
The hotel's prime location, a stone's throw from Dubai Mall and the iconic Burj Khalifa, coupled with a free shuttle service, makes it a hit among travelers. Detailed Reviews
I go to Dubai twice to three times a year since 2015 and for the past three years at least I've been staying in Rove Trade center since I discovered it, recently I knew from their instagram that they opened a new hotel and I was so happy to try it just two days after the opening!
Location is amazing in city walk, and for someone who does not live in Dubai its super easy to find and move around, I did not need the GPS to get to Dubai Mall and back to the hotel, it's also very convenient that there is a sehha screening center close by in city walk to do the needed PCR test to go back to Oman.
Hotel is very clean, breakfast is high quality as usual, my room was on the 12th floor, so I had a nice view of Meraas building with the beautiful blinking huge table lamps in the balcony, and the far away sea. Wasl 51 with the amazing restaurants is less than 10 min.s away, not to mention city walk and the Dubai Mall.
I am in love with Rove hotels, value for money is really amazing, and add to that the convenience of the location and the cleanliness and the good quality.
Special thanks to Mark from the house keeping who was always attentive and on call!
Now that being said, I have to mention some minor drawbacks which if fixed, would make it perfect.
The room is quite tiny, so if I was not alone this time, me and my husband would have struggled to move around with our luggage, it's smaller than the room in Tradecenter branch, there is NO TRASH CAN in the room!! which is weird, I had to use my own shopping bags to throw any tissues or trash I had, but if you are the kinda person who is ok to keep going to the bathroom whenever u have a tissue in hand to throw or something, u will be good to go. Also they could've installed more sockets in the walls, I mean one on each side of the bed is not enough for the number of chargers an average person in this tech world would need. Also no magnifying mirror in the bathroom, but this is just for those who care about it, I personally do not use it. otherwise, the hotel is beautiful and there was no problem in the parking space, unlike the trade center branch.

1. Fast, easy and smooth check-in, Timame at the front desk was very friendly and offered us the top floor room with city view as requested.
2. The view from 17th floor is impressive but there is a constant whining sound from the engine room above. The front desk very kindly allowed us to move to a different room and Tilek who assisted us, even showed us 2 options to choose from.
3. The housekeeping services are excellent, we would get water/coffee within minutes of our request.
4. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfy, and the view of City Walk from the 14th floor was very calming.
5. The location is great, you can easily walk to City Walk which has quite a few good options for food and shopping if that’s your interest.
6. Free daily shuttle bus service to La Mer beach and Dubai Mall.
7. Nice pool and Umar the lifeguard always there to greet you with a smile. Free orange juice and water provided at the pool which is needed in this heat.
Dislikes
1. Variety of items offered at breakfast, but the quality of food isn’t worth the paid breakfast, when there are significantly better options at City Walk.
2. Being musicians it was disappointing that we were not allowed to play with some of the actual musical instruments that are on display at the lobby. A display filled with vinyl records, record player, ukuleles and Kalimbas. It really detracted the real feel of a Rove hotel which markets itself as a homey, friendly, & fun place.
3. The outdoor lounge area near the pool is a great place to unwind with amazing views of the city, but it’s a shame that that entire area is closed after the pool closes at 8pm.
4. Wish they could squeeze in a table tennis area like some of the other Rove hotels.
Overall
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the positives far outweigh the negatives written above.

My husband and I had an amazing time at Rove city walk in February. Above all, we would like to specially thank Richa, at the reception, who was really welcoming and always helpful.
What we loved the most at Rove citwalk:
1. Smooth check in + we had an early check in around 10: 00 am instead of 4:00pm and that was a plus mainly when we reached dubai at 6am in the morning)
2. Free daily shuttle to famous dubai mall and La mer beach which was very convenient to us.
3. Good breakfast with variety of quality food (english breakfast). However, the coffee machine is very slow, maybe having two coffee machines would contribute in reducing the waiting time.
4. The hotel concept (music instrument) is just beautiful and it was so cozy.
5. The hotel overall (lobby, restaurant and room) is clean! Daily room service.
6. 10 mins walk to the dubai mall metro station.
7. 5 mins walk to city walk mall (although we were not too impressed by this mall)
8. Many people complained about the room size but honestly as a couple this was not an issue at all for us as many other criteria did compensate same. For instances, our room (1525) was always clean (with daily housekeeping), refreshing and comfortable! No outside noise at all! The wardrobe is a bit small and the pillows are quite hard. But overall we loved staying in our room after a long day out!
I definitely recommend Rove city walk to anyone (business/ holidays/ couples/solo) based on our experience as a couple itself.

All in all, the hotel is solid: it's centrally-located, clean and vibrant. However, I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for a chic, relaxing hotel stay in the city.
It's a hotel that is best suited for those that spend most of their time outside and only need a place to sleep at the end of the day (I'm certainly not one of those travelers and I think that's why I was a bit underwhelmed!)
The rooms are small so be prepared to live in cramped quarters. I would say this hotel is best for solo travelers, any couples looking to book should only spend about 3 days here because beyond that, you'll start to feel trapped in your room! I was there for a week.
One other thing that put me off a lot more than I expected was the hotel smell. My husband liked it, but I absolutely hated it and I think it ruined the vibe for me. It smelled lemon-y and earthy but not in a good way, I hope they'll change it up occasionally.
The shower deserves a shoutout, it's incredible and the shampoo/body wash was great too. We also enjoyed the shuttle service to and from Dubai Mall. It's also walking distance to CityWalk which has an array of shops and restaurants.

The hotel is lovely. I am delighted how everything is thought out to the smallest detail. From design and fastest check-in to bed comfort and the most comfortable check-out. I especially liked the staff of the restaurant at breakfast, very friendly and always energetic. I felt care and attention. Transfer to the most needed points is a special thanks. Very comfortable and clean bus. The driver is always punctual. There were some minor hiccups, I'll write them for you. However, this does not globally affect my impression of the rest, I will definitely recommend the hotel to my friends.
1. The air conditioner greatly cools the room, it was not possible to change the temperature on our own
2. Towels were rarely changed, apparently because I used them carefully
3. Cups for coffee, milk and other little things often had to be asked, as they were not refilled every day
I want to note that all questions and requests were processed very quickly and efficiently.
I'm a true Rover now!

Had a wonderful time during my week-long stay here. It was my first time staying at any Rove hotel and will definitely be coming again. I especially loved how new, bright, clean and modern the whole place was (from the rooms to the lobby to the common areas). It has a fresh quirky boutique feel to it that is brimming with character and puts a smile on your face. Simple, functional and unpretentious with all the amenities you might need for a very reasonable price especially given the location. Special shout-out to Conrad who was very attentive, friendly and accommodating during my stay.

Please do not be put off by the three star level of this hotel as the service facilities and ambiance are far superior to the star level. Very trendy young Vibe. Staff were everywhere in the hotel and couldn’t do enough for you. I’ve stayed at five star hotels and only been given two bottles of water each day this hotel gives you unlimited bottles of water any time day or night. little touches like this put this hotel above others I have stayed in. Top marks to the restaurant and beverage manager who was incredibly helpful at all times and to Mercy who worked in the restaurant and was always full of smiles. The rooms ,although small ,offer everything you need. One of the facilities is a laundry room with ironing boards and irons so you can do your own laundry and ironing whenever you want. My one tip would be to ask for a higher floor (we were on 16) as due to the fantastic position of this hotel the road is noisy at peak times. We were based here and perfectly positioned for the Dubai mail which obviously has the aquarium and the Burj Khalifa experience. We ate breakfast ,lunch and on one occasion dinner here and they were all excellent, particularly the breakfast offerings. I would also compliment them on their wonderful coffee as it was far superior to the world wide chain nearby. If you happen to be going to a concert at the Coca-Cola Marina it would be a great choice .

Not too many complaints but the biggest was definitely room service. If you weren't ready by 9am your room would not be cleaned that day. Rooms were a little chilly especially compared to the weather outside and we had some fruit fly issue in our room. But the restaurant service and food was great, amazing lobby to hang out in with the friendliest front desk staff. Pool and gym area were nice and the location wasn't bad either, in walking distance to the Dubai Mall and the attractions nearby and right beside the Coca-Cola Arena. The free shuttles were a nice touch as well as the front desk staff arranging for CoVid testing for those who needed it.

+1
Once again, staying at the Rove felt like home. Although we arrived very early, we were lucky to get a room available within hours. In the meantime, the hotel offered free and secure baggage storage lockers (very funky names!). This allowed us the flexibility to freshen up and go explore before the.room was ready, which was a huge plus.
The decor in the lobby was absolutely wonderful. There are so many visuals to take in, and each was a special find.
Wonderful pool with lots of sunbeds and shade available plus outdoor patio.areas for thisenwho want to just lounge around.
The breakfast was fantastic. With a very wide and spread out variety of foods. There were also a few vegetarian specific options (more indian asian variety).
Rooms: We had an interconecting family room on the 10 floor with a fantastic view of the local mosque and Coca Cola arena plus the burj on one side. Well furnished, small but comfortable all around. The beds were very comfy as well.
Gym-although did not have an opportunity to try this time; it was well equipped and maintained.
Location: very close to Dubai mall, La Mer beach City Walk. The hotel offers free shuttle services, and you will have to contact them directly if you want a copy.
Taxis can easily be ordered via Careem app and pay with credit card or cash. Always order taxi in advance as local traffic dictates how long a taxi takes to get to the hotel. You may choose to take an available taxi from the hotel. The key here is to ask the taxi drivers if they are free or have been called for a pickup.
The city walk area is lovely at night. Lots of nearby restaurants but expect to pay higher prices vs. other local places such as in Deira.
I would definitely stay here again given the location and availability of family rooms at reasonable prices. Something that seemed rare and hard to find in some main areas of Dubai.

No brother you don’t need it
Our airport transfer was arranged at the time of booking however I’m certain if you email the hotel they can arrange pick up and return. Be aware from Dubai airport we had a bit of a trek to the car park . There’s an area inside where you go lots of names and lists for pick ups and the drivers helped and led us to the cars.
Yes rooms have hairdryer
Taxi would be the best and the fastest option as you'll be tired from the flight however if you would like you can take the metro to Dubai Mall metro station then you'll have to walk around 1km.
Hope this will help.
