It takes a lot to impress me (I've been told I am difficult to please!) but I have to say the Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah never failed to provide a five-star holiday experience across all areas of its hospitality.
All the staff in this hotel are friendly and polite, hard-working, and accommodating - with special 'thanks' to Rap who helped us with the initial booking requirements through to finalising the overall bill. The concierge staff were always helpful and sourced us Taxi services so that we could explore further afield.
We stayed and dined as half-board guests and honestly can say that all the dining places had a fabulous ambience and wonderful selection of foods from the East through to the Western cuisine both at Breakfast and the dinner services.
Our Valentine's evening was spent dining on the beach at Jones the Grocer (love the front-of-house staff here!). Managed a cocktail in the Valentine-themed bar at Trader Vics listening to the live Cuban band. The lovely housekeeping staff on floor three also dressed our bed in fresh, red rose petals and pink love heart chocolates whilst keeping the spit-and-span approach to servicing our room and keeping us supplied with bottles of water a daily occurrence.
The pool has a wonderful addition of a swim-up bar (much appreciated by the husband) and the food from the Tahitian Village was exceptional. There are towels and complimentary bottles of water daily and even though it was half term in the UK and the hotel was busy, we were able to find cabanas and sunbeds for the four of us.
I love the clean perfumed smell that you find around this hotel, I love that all the staff members look genuinely happy and greet you wherever you go.
We recommend a trip to the rooftop terrace bar to take in the amazing views from this perfectly located hotel on the palm. A twenty-minute taxi ride takes you to the Dubai Mall and the excellent water fountain display to music in front of the Burj Khalifa also, just a short walk to the Souk al Bahar where we recommend the food court of the Timeout Market. The Splash! boat tour company took us on a thrilling 1.5-hour tour around the palm which we would also say was a fabulous way to take in the luxury hotels of the palm.
We travelled with two teenagers and had two rooms which we requested to be furthest from the neighbouring hotel Five as we had read the comments on this platform regarding the noise levels from the hotel next door. I would describe it as being "white noise" which went on from 11 am until 3 am Thursday through to Saturday/Sunday. I am glad we were aware of this and because of this, I am posting to make others aware that the party vibe in the hotel might not be what you expect of your holiday experience. This did NOT ruin our experience of our time at Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah.
We have previously stayed elsewhere on the palm but I would without a shadow of a doubt return to the Hilton Dubai as it has so much quality and excellent service to offer.

We decided to try this hotel when it opened its doors for a ‘soft opening’ early in September and stayed for 4 of its first days open. It’s always a risk arriving at a new hotel on opening but we’re very pleased we took it!

It is a spectacular and elegantly furnished building well situated at the start of the Palm. We love the location as there’s an array of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk with the Nakheel shopping Mall is also close by - a 15 minute walk away. You don’t feel as isolated as you sometimes do further into the Palm.

The hotel itself is very large and has some big named and renown eateries situated within, all due to open with days/weeks. Meanwhile a couple of restaurants are up already and running, as is the delightful Social Bee lounge area serving some exquisite food including afternoon tea.

The pool area is stunning and fully operational. There’s a large pool with swim up bar, although the beach area itself is still under development. The pool was surprisingly busy on one day which led to some food order
delays and tested the new systems and staff to the limit! They coped admirably.

As you might imagine the staff are so excited
to be finally up and running the service levels are beyond exemplary! All deserve a mention and it seems a little unfair to pick anyone out, but Ana at Social Bee for breakfast (until it moved to the main restaurant) and Shawn (not spelt correctly!) the doorman were top of the tree for us.

Obviously the whole hotel is brand new and all
areas including the rooms offer a genuine wow factor.

The executive lounge was open for evening canopies and drinks, but at the time of our visit not the rest of the day. Again the service and attention in the wonderfully spacious and presented lounge beyond exceptional.

Elite HHonors members could naturally take breakfast in the main restaurant and afternoon tea was available at Social
Bee. It was a simply stunning afternoon tea offering. There was also a 25% discount on all food and beverage for Diamond members.

We’ve little doubt this hotel is a star of the future and whilst there will be teething problems during it’s early life, nothing whatsoever that should deter you from visiting when you can!

We’ll be back …. and soon!

Thank you Hilton The Palm Jumeirah

We arrived at the hotel on Tuesday morning about 8am and were apprehensive due to it being a new hotel, not responding to emails I had sent in advance and that it had been delayed in opening following the pandemic.

On walking to reception and dealing with a young lady called Diana those apprehensions started to fall away. On being upgraded being a Diamond member to a sea view room and my family & I were able to check in early and were very pleased with the room size, location and view.

Breakfast was okay, however catered more for the Far East (hot food) than Europe & the UK compared to other Hilton Dubai hotels - saying this you would find something to eat from yogurts, Pastries, smoked salmon and poached egg to waffles or pancakes.

The Pool, beach and kids club were all very good, however I would question if the hotel was at 100% Occupancy how these facilities would fair. The hotel felt about 40% occupied when we stayed for 6 nights and most sun loungers were taken around the pool or on the upper level.

The pool bar & food were very good and would even make us a Club Sandwich not on the menu! Food did take time on a few days (Over 40 minutes) to come out, but as you can imagine we were not in a rush being next to the pool.

We only used one of the restaurants for an evening meal (Trader Viks) which was alright - service & drinks were very good, food was similar quality to TGI Fridays back in the UK, but a lot more expensive. Never the less we had a good evening.

You have a number of restaurants down West Beach and the shopping mall a gentle walk away.

Overall, as a Hilton Diamonds member of 7 years this has to be up in the top 3 hotels I’ve stayed in for service, cleanliness and overall enjoyment. Diana on reception was one of the most helpful reception people I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with and nothing was to much trouble.

Dubai costs (food, taxis, etc.) have increased from 2021 to 2022 and for this reason only we have decided to see other parts of the world. However, if you are after some winter sun (if you are in the Uk/ Europe) with a beach, amazing service, a clean hotel look no further.

Having recently returned from a 10 day break in Dubai with my wife and 2 children, I felt it important to write this review.
The Jurmeriah Hilton Palm is a lovely hotel beautiful entrance and very helpful and friendly staff, but there is a downside.
Unfortunately the standard rooms are not suited to a family with young children. Rooms are basic, small with virtually no storage.
Pool area extremely small reminded me of the Costa Del Sol, pool was very over crowded adults drinking excessively around the bar area with children playing nearby? , virtually no chance of obtaining 4 sun loungers, the loungers had towels placed on them as soon as towels were available very early.
As for the beach we found the sand was gritty and full of cement particles the hotel is situated next to a busy marina were shipping is continuous leading to poor quality sea conditions, the sea does not epp and flow as in natural beaches so cleanliness was a concern and hard on the feet due to the remnants of construction materials. On numerous occasions drinking water was not available pool side or beach side not good for young children.
The hotel states numerous restaurants on site Mowsem excellent however the Claw, McGettigans on a Friday and Saturday forget these locations noisy and full of drunk expats doing all you can eat and drink brunches not what is expected in Dubai, I heard numerous complaints being made to management regarding these venues but to no avail. Tahita Village this is an adult restaurant not suitable for young children.
Not much for young children in this hotel, this Hilton is more of a business hotel or a one or two day stopover location.
Families think very very carefully before staying at this hotel there are much better options available in Dubai personally I would not recommend staying here to any families.

As you walk on the lobby is inviting and beautiful. There is a long queue at reception so check in is slow. No welcome drinks not even water!
The room was comfortable and spacious. Nice view of the pool area and marina from the balcony. There are many lifts so that’s a great advantage as you don’t need to wait long. There is no turn down service in this resort and the one time housekeeping came, as I had asked for the room to be cleaned, they made the bed and drew the curtains. They left the dirty towels in the bathroom and didn’t even put new towels.
There is a good variety at breakfast and the service is good. The only issue was the eggs counter where there were pre made eggs Benedict which were not runny and mostly well done. We tried to order it to our liking but were told we couldn’t.
The pool is big with a bar in the middle. You have to hand in your towel card for the towels, the problem with this Is the sun beds stay reserved even when the guests haven’t used it for some time. No one removes the towels and there is always a shortage of sun beds by the pool. So reserve them as early as you can if you plan to stay by the pool especially on weekends. The pool boys don’t help much so you need to get your towels and look for the available sun beds. Most sun beds are in threes so you mostly find single ones that are available. Rachel was the only helpful member of staff I found by the pool. She went out of her way to accommodate the guests on a busy Saturday.
The floor in the pool area is very dirty it could do with a good sweep. The changing rooms next to the pools had overflowing bins, dirty floors and some toilets had ran out of toilet roll.
Not much variety for lunch in Zing and the few items they have aren’t t great. I ordered Caesar salad and shawarma, the salad was quite bland and the shawarma very dry.
If you want to enjoy a quiet calm evening in your balcony then this isn’t the place for you. There is loud music and noise until at least midnight every day!

Stayed for 3 night end of November 2023. The hotel is quite new and absolutely immaculate. The room was spacious and the bathroom luxurious with Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries which were very nice indeed. There was also 2 bottles of water free of charge in the room daily. The food was very good in the main restaurant (buffet) but I cannot comment in the speciality restaurants as we did not try them. We found all the staff friendly and helpful. We did have a cocktail in the Tahiti bar during happy hour which was quite nice but the menu was limited - 35aed which is a very good price. Location of the hotel is good, on a busy road on the trunk of the palm and Nakheel Mall is a 20 minute walk away if you need shopping/soft drinks. We did not sit around the pool as we prefer the beach - sun loungers and cabanas were available and a nice touch was the free water which you just need to collect from the towel station. The only disappointment was the building work being carried out directly opposite the private beach which spoiled our beach experience with the constant banging during the day (see photo). I realise building work is everywhere in Dubai but I wish it had been pointed out to me when booking. Overall a fantastic hotel worthy of its 5 stars.

Excellent holiday. Everything you want and expect out of a holiday.
Although this is a new hotel the design and interior decor deliver the wow factor.
We stayed half board, executive level. Having visited Dubai for the last 20 years we have only ever stayed at a Jumeriah hotel residence or The One and Only so we were a little nervous at what Hilton would deliver. We always consider Hilton as business/city hotels but we were very pleasantly surprised.
For what it cost it seems sensible to go half board but we still ventured out as there are so many restaurants all in walking distance but you really don’t need to leave the hotel. The breakfast was a delight every morning. The staff were first class and every department delivered to a very high standard. Housekeeping was first class, no shortage of water, every day fresh bottles were delivered to your room and provided with towels by the pool.
Whoever designed the interior decor and uniforms should be praised, wherever you moved around the hotel it felt clean, fresh, chic and had a delightful ambience. The staff looked lovely, some lovely dresses and attire.
I really hope the standard of this hotel stays the same because it was worth every penny and real value for money.
A word of advice if you book this hotel book it direct with the hotel and earn your Hilton Honors because we missed out as we booked through a third party - we would of had a better room and it would of been cheaper.

Arrived at the hotel at 10:30 am after an overnight flight. Our room was ready and we were just in time for breakfast.
The hotel is quite new and it sparkles throughout with chrome, marble and wood.
The executive lounge looked after us really well especially the excellent RJ, Hashiani, Rindy and Racheal. Breakfast from 7am to 11am in the lounge was great with hot and cold buffet and eggs cooked a la carte. Afternoon Tea (from 3pm to 5pm) in the lounge was excellent with sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and a good selection of cakes. Evening canapés (from 6pm to 8pm) were also excellent except for one night when they were not to our taste and not being replenished as well as other nights. The free drinks to accompany the canapés consisted of 2 red wine varieties , 2 white wine varieties, spirits and mixers. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are available all day until 9pm.
The pool and beach area is large with a mix of sunbeds with shades and Ball beds with blinds.
Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent as it seemed like we had a different young man every day. Some days the rooms seemed to be made up in a rush with some cleaning missed. Supervision and training could be improved. Evening turn down was a joke with the staff turning up at 17:40. Just when everyone is getting ready to go out or before they have returned from the beach.
The sauna, steam room and thermal pool was excellent. The gym was OK but didn't have a rowing machine (my favourite).
The excellent RJ checked us out at the executive lounge at 6pm where we had a snack and drinks prior to our overnight flight home. Overall a very nice 9 night stay.

Myself and my wife have just returned from a one week stay and we’re already looking for a reason to stay again.
The hotel was better than we could’ve hoped for, everything from the room to the restaurants and staff was fantastic. We stayed in a deluxe sea view room and were really impressed with the size of the room and the modern design. Our room was on the third floor just above one of the bars and we heard very little(if any) noise so no complaints on getting a good sleep.
The hotel has one very large pool and a second small pool for children, again no complaints here as the pool was a nice temperature(not too cold) and there’s plenty of loungers/day beds, never any problem in getting one at any time of the day.
We were staying on a half board basis which again was better than we’d hoped as we were able to eat in the normal buffet restaurant (Mowsem) for meals but also switch to the other restaurants for lunch or dinner based on a 150 AED per person for food, this was a nice option.
The buffet restaurant was nice enough but a little heavy on Indian style food for dinner when not a theme night and there’s maybe not enough staff for drinks service at busy times. We would recommend trying the outdoor station in Mowsem though as a lot of guests seemed to miss it and it typically had a great meat or fish dish at dinner time.
We tried three of the other restaurants(McGettigan’s, Joe the Grocer and Claw) and thought they were all great options, in particular Joe the Grocer for lunch.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, not far from a palm monorail station to get to Atlantis or gateway, walkable to Nakheel mall and even walkable the Jumeirah beach if you don’t mind walking at the side of the main road off of the palm. There’s a good choice of shops and cafes across the road from the hotel in the golden mile building if you ever need anything.
Really the best part of the hotel is the staff, they’re fantastic and really do what they can to make the stay great. It was my birthday during our visit and I don’t like attention but the staff in Claw and housekeeping both made a big effort to make the day special.
This wasn’t our first visit to Dubai but it was our first to the Hilton and it’ll be our first choice for the next time.

Hotel is situated on West Beach which has a 1 mile walk at the back of the hotel at the start of the palm. Stayed with wife and teenage son.

Pro's
Check in very good.
Rooms are brand new so not been "bashed about"
Breakfast choice is excellent, truly excellent
Swimming pool, massive towels
Executive lounge is possibly the best (London Bankside the other) I have been in.
Gym is brilliant, much better than most gym equipment in UK and lovely view when running, cross trainer et cetera
Nice foyer.

Cons
Check out, spent far too much time waiting
Air-con, there is no way it should be that warm on the setting of 18.5. Also will not go lower.
Beach is a work in progress (not really a con), building Zing beach bar areas.
Drink prices are mad
Do not provide free water like they do in Waldorf.
Not enough glasses in the room
Problems with taxi's so started using Uber which whilst like 10% more was better comfort and more reliable.
Housekeeping is ok, not excellent, an area they need to improve but no doubt will as the hotel "beds in" (pardon the pun)

Note to travellers, if you don't wish to be "ripped off" 18AED for a can of coke at the pool/beach, walk across the road outside (3 minutes) and into the galleria opposite, there is a Spinney's supermarket which sells 6 cans for 16 AED! Also you can walk inside this galleria and it leads you to virtually outside Nakheel Mall without getting too hot (15 minute walk inside, 3 minute walk outside)

Special mention to Hamad on sorting out totally my mistake on wrong room choice and allowing a breakfast FOC as checked in at like 10am. Also to Marion the F&B Manager, providing fantastic service.

Would I stay here again? YES.

no, they also have rooms to the road side. The rooms are as the Hillton webside or other hotel booking websides describe the type of room. Have a lovely stay if you decide for this hotel. You will not be disappointed choosing this property and a sea view room.
