This is an expensive resort - however the room quality and service standards do not meet expectations. Our room was pretty small and had limited/ no view. A cleaners cupboard was right outside our door which meant it became very noisy from around 7.00am onwards. Also, people were intent on partying well into the night in rooms around us -...

Unfortunately this resort although sounded great, was surrounded by construction. The private beach looks out to construction and with the port next door you feel like you're swimming in the oils of the big ships. The pools are nice if you wish to stay in the resort and not leave. The location I struggled with. Everything in Dubai is so...

The Hotel itself had pleasant rooms but the air conditioning was colder than the mini bar. Not that you want to use the mini bar very often as this Hotel and resort in general are just taking the p--s with the prices they charge! We booked a room only package as we like to eat out. Little did we know...

Having a great chill-out time at Dubai Marine Beach Resort. A resort with private beach, cocktail bar-beers. 2 swimming pools. variety of restaurants, and short walk to others nearbye. Short taxi ride to centre. Nice bar next to reception. Waiter, Nim, was very friendly and attentive. We went back twice the first evening.

Recently returned from a stay at this resort. Can not speak highly enough of it. Loved every minute. The resort is large with many onsite restaurants. The rooms are villas and very spacious. We as a family of 4 had loads of room and enjoyed time in our villa and didn't feel like we were on top of each other....

This hotel/resort is in a good location with the old town and facilities including airport and Dubai mall in very easy reach. We arrived on an early morning flight and the receptionist was very helpful and managed to get us allocated to a room and checked in by 10.00am. In particular Nim in the lounge bar gave exceptional service both...

This hotel was super perfect for what it was we wanted, which was to relax and have unwind. The service was perfect and everyone couldn't do enough for you there. The restaurants were also all really good as well. I would suggest getting one of the suites as we had plenty of room and loads of mirrors etc to get...

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighbourhood Profile
Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighbourhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
