We stayed 3 nights from 1-3Dec'12 and were pleasantly upgraded to the Executive Floor (7th Floor) with a room overlooking the Dubai Museum and adjoining the Executive Breakfast Lounge as it was our 25th Wedding Anniv. The hotel were so kind as to organise an Anniversary cake during our stay. Everything written by fellow TA's about the hotel and location...

This was my second stay in Dubai and in The Arabian Courtyard and this trip was better than the last. Myself and two friends were staying for 7 nights. We arrived about 4 hours early for check in, but the lovely gentleman on reception was able to get us into 2 of our rooms early. They even gave us an...

Superb location in the middle of Dubai, across from the Dubai Museum, near the textile, gold, and spice souqs. The rooms are comfortable, clean, quiet, and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and the breakfast if good. This is the place for anyone wishing to avoid the modern, sterile, new hotels.

Arabian Courtyard is very centrally located, and simplistic in style compared to some of the ultra modern hotels in Dubai. It is an easy walk to the shopping in Bur Dubai, Karama; and a short water taxi ride in the Abra across the Creek will get to to Diera, the Gold and Spice Souks. The rooms are well appointed and...

There are many newer and smarter hotels in Dubai, but none so well located to see the old city, and this hotel is comfortable, clean and friendly. The excellent museum is opposite, and the restored Bastakia Quarter and Creek an easy walk away, and Diera with its spice and gold souks is just an exctitng ferry ride beyond. The one...

Arabian Courtyard will not disappoint those who seek a bit of traditional Middle Eastern atmosphere, rather than ultramodern, sky-scraping glass-and-steel hotels. The authenticity of the design may be questionable, and the atmosphere in the Bur Dubai neighborhood is now set by the Indian community rather than Emirati culture, but it's a fun place to spend some time if you're on...

First let me say I really enjoyed this hotel. The decorators have gone to a lot of work to give it a distinct "Arabic" feel. The hotel is right across the street from the Dubai museum. The museum is quite interesting and has a huge underground section that we would have missed because the entrance to it is sort of...

Thank you for enjoying your stay with us. Staying in The Creek

Neighbourhood Profile
The Creek
The smell of frankincense hangs thick and heavy in the air, waves lap gently at jetties, and market traders call to passing tourists. The creek, originally the place where pearl boats docked and left on missions to uncover jewels from the deep, is where the city really began. The Al Fahidi District on the Creekside is one of the oldest heritage sites in Dubai, easily recognizable with its iconic wind towers, the original air conditioning. Home to the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and the Dubai Museum, the old buildings also house a range of cafes, shops and art galleries. Often called “the real Dubai,” this is a wonderful place to lose yourself before catching an abra across the creek to the spice souk, where your senses will be overwhelmed with tastes, smells, and sounds.
