I would like to write my opinion on this hotel. I visited the Armada Bluebay hotel in October 2021.

First impressions:

1 / I was not satisfied with the location, I wanted to live closer to Marina Dubai, because of the sea (directly in the Marina, the hotels were too expensive, already because of Expo 2020). I found out that the metro is 900 m away on foot, which is not quite close in the heat. After leaving the hotel you are dependent on a taxi, otherwise you can not get anywhere. In addition, you take a taxi for 20 minutes to get to the other side via Sheikh Zayed Road to the sea, which if we had a hotel in another part of Dubai it is the same. So next time I will definitely choose a hotel that is closer to the subway so that we don't have it so far everywhere and moreover probably more in the city, for example the location of Al Barsha, etc. where some hotels have at least a shuttle bus to the sea.

2 / positive is that right next to the hotel is a market that is open 24/7 so you can buy some water etc.

3 / Rooms: we had a very nice view of the skyscrapers, I recommend, if possible, go to the upper floor, we were on the 39th floor (out of 40) and it was very nice. Rooms clean, daily cleaning service. Daily bottles of drinking water - great :). One day I didn't get towels in my room. I had to ask for them 4 times to get the towels and it took almost a day and a half to bring them to me - which was not very pleasant.

4 / Pool: the pool personally disappointed me, it looked bigger in the photos (booking.com), but unfortunately it was not so.

5 / During the stay we had breakfast included for every day. The choice was fine, for the unpretentious. For the more demanding, it might matter that it's the same every day. But for a larger selection, so I could not complain. We were accommodated for one week, so that was enough.

I recommend this hotel if you are staying more in the Jumeirah Lakes Towers "JLT" area and close your eyes to before a few "little" things :)

After a 10 days visit at this hotel, I didn't regret choosing it for my vacation. After reading some reviews beforehand, I knew what to expect.
Pros: decent sized rooms; helpful staff; nice view from the 40th floor; good tasty breakfast (omelette station, espresso machine, croissants, fresh fruits etc.), 10 minute walk to metro station, relatively close to Dubai Marina (20 minutes walk); 24h open supermarket just 50 m away; free shuttle bus to and from the beach (3 round trips per day); happy hour at the swimming pool bar (around 27 aed for a pint of beer, after 12:00); huge and comfortable bed, I slept like a baby.
Cons: two times nobody cleaned our room; some days, we had our 2 bottles of water replenished, some days not; extremely small swimming pool and too few sunbeds (at first this wasn't a problem, but if you want to spend some time around the swimming pool you need to before 10:00 a.m.); for a hotel with 40 floors, having one small swimming pool (with a depth of maximum 1.2 meters) and 20 sunbeds is just not enough; just 2 espresso machines for breakfast is not enough and usually had to wait at least 10 minutes to get a cup of coffee;
Neutral: had no problem with waiting 4-5 minutes for the elevator (keep in mind that between 10:30-11:00 you can wait more); I asked the reception to order a taxi for us and eneded up waiting 20 minutes (better go outside and wait 2-3 minutes, you will find one), some restaurants nearby, but not the best.

Our 5 days here were very enjoyable . They have a swimming pool ( we did not used as the beach was just 20 min walk) . We had been upgraded for a higher category when checking in and the room was on the 40th floor which the view was amazing. We had received every day cleaning and the only small downgrade that the housekeeping was keep removing the iron and iron board from our room and they could work a bit on the Internet ( we did not have connection on the balcony ) . We did not try the breakfast but the only thing was a cappuccino which was very good .

Book instant room for the evening 1 night stay, but after work meeting have to go for unexpected trip to Abu Dhabi. So I called property to cancel my reservation, they told me that it is not possible moreover it is already fully charge and won’t be refundable.
It is ridiculous as not a season time, and they won’t lose any client.
1 star rate, be careful when you are booking with them online.

After a 9 hour flight I came to check in and I was on my own (travelling to visit a friend). The staff told me they did not have a booking for me and shook their head. I was like I do here is the confirmation, you have taken the money and they said no we do not have your booking. He then went off for 20 minutes and came back with his printed documentation saying it was rejected. Even though I had the confirmation and payment had been taken!! Not once did he say sorry!! He did not care that I was a lone woman who had travelled half way across the world only to be told no room. He said the hotel was full this is why it was rejected. I got my friend to call the hotel as she lived in Dubai and they hung up the phone on her. I demanded my room as I had paid for it, he was like I will find out, an hour later he then said I have found it - technical issue! what a liar as first he told me there were no rooms! If I had not persisted he would have not bothered to pursue it and looked! He did not once say SORRY! You also have to pay tax at the hotel and a deposit when checking in. I tried to go to the pool the next day which was meant to open at 9am, I arrived at 10.30am and there was a que because the lifeguard had not bothered to turn up to work and the people in the que said they had asked the reception to open it 2 times and they still did open it until I asked a cleaner who was more helpful and did so. Reception staff are shocking, they have no clue what they are doing, are rude unhelpful and unfriendly. I asked them to call a taxi for me and they just said you have to wait outside and get one yourself. I have travelled many a place around the world and I can say this was the worst hotel for customer service I have EVER experienced. DO NOT BOOK unless you want a stressful experience!!!! I wanted to put 0 stars!!!

The hotel lacks service, did not clean properly, did not change bathroom accessories, pretended to be cleaned. The reception is not friendly, the rooms are not soundproofed, you can hear everything. In a word, Armada BlueBay does not pull 4 * for five point marks, we put one.🤮🤧 If I fly to Dubai again, I will not stay at Armada BlueBay for anything and I do not advise you)

Most disgusting hotel I've ever booked. I saw the room, immediately walked downstairs and requested a refund. The room had 3 broken cabinets, water leakage on the walls, dirt everywhere. The pictures of this hotel do not reflect the actual hotel. Two other people were downstairs complaining. The hotel refused to refund the money. I left and stayed at another hotel down the street. Dubai has so many reasonably priced beautiful hotels, STAY AWAY from this disgusting place.

I booked the hotel via Agoda almost a week ago. I had a confirmation and showed the receptionist that it was a non-refundable booking.

After almost 40 minutes of keeping me waiting they said they couldn't locate the reservation, despite my having told them that I had to get to a meeting.

They were pretty unhelpful - not showing any consideration for the fact that I had a firm non refundable booking. They did have rooms.

Amazingly they refused even to send me an email just to confirm for Agoda that /they/ had refused me the hotel. The manager, a burly, rude man called Andre, said that they could not do this. Then when I set out to take a photo, he said that was not allowed, grabbed me by the arm and told me to "get out".

I wish you good luck if you book this place.

We arrived this hotel at 5 am. Our reservation was made two weeks earlier and we exchanged emails with the hotel staff the day before that we will arrive late. But no room was available upon arrival. We payed for the room and got nothing. Book here if you want to get stressed and angry. I would give zero if I could.
