We stayed at San Marino Royal for two nights and it surpassed our expectations. We arrived one day earlier than our booking reservation due to some health issues. We were not charged any extra (although they could according to booking) and we were upgraded to a suite as it was available with no extra money. We asked for a road...

We stayed in the royal suite for the same price as a travel lodge in the UK. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable and the whole room just felt like luxury. Located on the edge of the centre you are never far from food or shops. I came down with E.Coli (from another restaurant) and the hotel fond me a...

This excellent property has lots of colonial charm, helpful desk staff [limited English] and comfortable clean rooms. Only a block off the Plaza 25 de Mayo in central Sucre, this was a great base location for seeing the city, at a very reasonable price. It's been meticulously maintained, and cleaned. There are great restaurants on the same block, and many...

We enjoyed this hotel very much. Close to the main Plaza and good Restaurants. We arrived in Sucre just before Carneval started. We found it safe and very colonial looking. Lots of class for the price point. Good Service on all levels of the hotel. Great breakfast ! Would recommend it .

This hotel is located at a perfect location near the plaza major. The room is huge, had a 2 person bubble bath and has the best bed in Bolivia. Big. Nice to sleep. Perfect. Breakfast is good. Real fresh juices, good bread. Next to the hotel is a nice restaurant with pizza and pasta.

This hotel was a complete disaster from start to finish. I booked here with some friends with the idea of getting a bit of luxury in Bolivia over Christmas - and the hotel failed miserably to provide that. Whilst it has a great location and looks good when you walk into the courtyard reception - don't be fooled. The chaos...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the San Marino Royal Hotel in Sucre. It is centrally located with access to many restaurants, markets, ATMs and shopping. We were able to take in the Final Four on ESPN also. The shower was great with plenty of hot water . . . unlike the hotel room we had in Cochabamba. Andrea (who...

we liked the location, very close to a great central plaza, and the interior architecture, but the good parts stop here. the room was very cold (in february), the water was cold (we left it running for 5-6 minutes and it finally warmed up), there was no place to put your soap or a towel, there was no hairdryer. the...
