Casa Verde is a lovely and good value B&B. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean with European standards of comfort, and the shared eating and pool areas are great. The staff are all very nice, while the owner Rene is extremely helpful, and speaks French,...More
The Casa Verde is a really lovely renovated colonial house in Sucre. The owner, Rene, is always ready to help you figure out where to go or what to eat. I have stayed in a lot of B and Bs, but this one has by...More
This hostel is run by a Belgian family and you notice the European management everywhere – clean, big and nicely decorated rooms, great service, good breakfast, nice garden … (and we were especially happy to find a “real” blanket in our room). The city center...More
We stayed at Casa Verde after a few nights in a basic hostel so it felt like we´d upgraded to a quality hotel. We were lucky to get a room on arrival but we recommend booking ahead if you can as it´s deservedly very popular....More
Rene brings European standards to this charming Bolivian city. Our room was clean and smelling nice. The breakfast was big and we could use Internet in the dining area. Rene is very helpful and nice host. Hello from Ewelina and Kasia :)

Another visitor there and I decided that the problem was more an issue of internet in Sucre rather than at Casa Verde. At certain times of the day the service everywhere gets very slow and there's some logic behind the pattern of it working and not working (like when children are let out of school) but it's a thing for sure.
Maybe another place will work better but Casa Verde is a jewel of a place to stay and I'm not too sure the internet elsewhere is going to be much better (maybe if you find a place that has it's won line). Good luck.
