Incredibly warm welcome with very comfortable rooms, a nice small walk into town and just across the road from the beautiful parque boliviar. Came home sick and they went out of their way to help us and brought us a big jug of hot mate de coca. Couldn't have asked for kinder people.

This hostal is ok for a one night stopover, but a little away from the main square, and not cheap considering we got no hot water and the overhead light was flickering faintly all night. Not a great night's sleep...and being Bolivia, no heating, and it was cold.

we arrived at 4 a.m. at the hostel and were just glad about a bed. the receptionist explained us that because of the fact that it's already 4 a.m. he will give us a discount of 100 bolivianos, so that we would pay for a double only 260 instead of 360 for two nights (actually one and a half). so...
