A fabulous place to stay. We were warmly welcomed by Tania our host, a lovely person. We had the Suite which was spacious with a table and chairs and an amazing view over the city. This was the best room to have! There was a shared kitchen but we had Tania's wonderful muesli and fruit for breakfast. A very relaxing...

We originally only booked 2 nights in this lovely hostel run by Tania. She was very helpful and explained a lot about the city and some good places to eat. Our room was light and airy. We had a shared bathroom however seemed only we were using it which was a bonus. The courtyard was very pretty with places to...

Wow - what a place. We were greeted by the gracious host Tanya who showed us to our stunning room with views over the lights of Sucre. A small walk down the hill and you're in the centre of the action (get a public collectivo or taxi back up - it's too much in that heat!!). The room was very...

The views alone make it worth the money and add to that the beautiful clean rooms, friendly service and good location then it really is a winner. Well equipped kitchen and they have delicious wine you can buy for only $20 bolivianos. The only con was the...

Casa al Tronco is a family-run accommodation at the top of a hill in Sucre. There are 3-4 rooms here; since there aren't too many, it's quite peaceful - it was perfectly tranquil during my 4-day stay here. The top floor has the kitchen with an amazing view; additionally, there is a patio off the kitchen where you could happily...

This is without a doubt, the best place to stay in Sucre. It is a little out of the way, downhill a 10 minute walk to the city center, uphill it takes a little longer, but this location offers you splendid views over the city and the surrounding landscape. It is also a very quiet neighborhood, with not too much...

Tania is an amazing host; considerate and thoughtful and very attentive. I felt a little unwell during my stay. She walked with me to the pharmacist and recommended pills I could take. She was flexible and accommodating throughout my stay. The actual place is genuinely so peaceful and relaxing. I wanted to spend my time there writing and it helped...

I paid close to $40 US with Bookings, but the room was immense with a fantastic view, I think it was a double. I see that sometimes rooms are advertised for less. The hot water worked well, the place is kept impeccably clean. There is a nice courtyard below the rooms. The hostess is gracious and informative. Casa Al Tronco...
