Overall I had a very nice stay! As has been written before; the hostal is in an alley where sometimes homeless people sleep. In the dark this feels a little 'scary' however, this alley makes that the hostal is away from the street en for that really quiet! The only thing that wakes you up in the morning is the... More

Nice rooms, decent breakfast and great location with the market. Also a small kitchen where you can cook yourself if you want to. They have good showers with real hot water. The only thing that could be better us the WIFI. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't.

I originally booked another hostel 9 months earlier but had some bad feedback and booked here last minute. Firstly the two girls on reception were very helpful in advice on places to eat. The courtyard is a oasis in a bustling city. The rooms were clean and we'll kept. In short come to Sucre and stay here.

Nice hostel, well located, nice hosts. The breakfast is ok, no more no less. The matrimonial bed is really tiny! We asked to move to 2 beds room and it was better. Its not the kind of hostel where you will meet other travelers... It's nice, the only really bad thing, and to us it was quite serious is the... More

We arrived without a reservation and took beds in a 6-bed dorm for the first night (spacious dorm, best mattresses in south america!), then moved to a private room, which was large, bright and airy in the main building. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful, the rooms were clean and breakfast spot on. The WiFi is above average... More

Nice and cute, although the entrance scared us a little bit at first. Rooms are small but good enough. The breakfast area is really cute. The staff had good recommendations, especially of where to go for the sunset. Nice!

LA Escondada is the nicest of the Hotels/Hostels I stayed in during my month in Bolivia. The location is fantastic, right in the tourist area, opposite the central market and a short walk to Sucre's main plaza. The hostel is split into two sections, with dorms and a few large rooms in the front and peaceful courtyard surrounded by rooms,... More

We stayed for five nights at this hostel and had no major complaints. The rooms are spacious, with hot showers and cable TV. There is a lovely courtyard which is so quiet, you can hardly believe the hustle and bustle of the centre once you step out of the door. And there is a kitchen which is fully stocked for... More

Private room with ensuite - consistent hot shower cable LCD TV (mostly in spanish, but a few English shows & movies) Excellent value for money, clean & very friendly & helpful staff. Room was at times a little noisy (1st floor)... More

We enjoyed our nicely decorated room in Sucre with good sunlight, wifi, and endless hot water. Location across from the market and near the plaza was very convenient. Breakfast is basic but good. Overall seems a little overpriced. Only complaint is regarding the laundry service, one of my thick hiking socks was lost. The laundry service had folded the sock... More
