Beautiful courtyard, dated but comfortable rooms that fit the style, very good location and the staff are friendly and helpful. Decent Wi-fi and was great to have a shower with amazing pressure and hot water. Biggest downside is the potential for noise from the courtyard. The rooms at the back of the hotel are quieter. When it comes to groups...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Great location! Room was pretty dated but very comfortable and big, we had a fridge in room which was very handy. Water was boiling... Be careful not to burn yourself. Courtyard was a lovely place to sit in the sun and read a book, also good to socialise. Only downside was breakfast very bland and...

The courtyard of the hotel is really nice where you can relax, have a drink, chat with friends etc. Hotel location is great, just a short walk from the main square and close to most other attractions in Sucre. Our room was dated but big. Most furnishings were old. There was hot water in the bathroom though and the room...

We came from Potosi to Sucre after recovering from a stomach bug and were so happy to arrive here as it was almost luxurious compared to many hostels we have stayed in in South America. The taps and showers were hot, staff professional and rooms were clean and fairly roomy and clean towels and shampoo were provided. However, we returned...

I loved everything about this place. A lovely B&B in an historic building. Wonderful service including a pot of tea while we waited for our room (we arrived mid-morning on a flight from La Paz). The room was just lovely. Beautiful central courtyard pus a rooftop area where you can look out over the rooftops of the city. Only 10...

The location is great and we had no problem with the cleanliness of the room, but that lovely central courtyard - you need to picture it with drunken groups of people who are passing through on group tours shrieking and yelling until late at night. Bring earplugs. As others have said, the breakfast is very light - some fruit, yoghurt...

The hotel is in a very good location. It is historical with charming feel. The setting is awesome till you step into the room. The room is rather small but this is not the real problem. The real problem is the common corridor or walkway is just outside all rooms which means no privacy. The curtains will not close entirely...

Nothing fancy about this hostal. The beds are comfortable enough and the room was very spacious. We had hot showers which was a big plus in Bolivia. The room was old and a bit shabby, the bathroom slightly flooded each time we had a shower, but it was good enough for what we needed. The breakfast was terrible - the...

Charming and beautiful hostel with wonderful hot water and a good breakfast! Not meticously clean nut close to the plaza, good restaurants and shopping. We had fun at the Para-ti tour, Sucre Sombero tour and eating the best chicken in town. we had a great time and hope to return!
