Our Suite was situated right above the courtyard, The furnishings were charming and authentic 19th century French reflecting the French influence in Bolivia at that time. The windows opened onto the courtyard and during the night loud banging could be heard ,when I believe the gates were locked and people were trying to get into the hotel. There were several...

The Parador Santa María is a truly elegant hotel in the authentic Spanish colonial style of an historic property. Nicely situated two blocks off the main square, it features about forty rooms all very tastefully individualized with respect to size and furnishings. High, often vaulted, ceilings predominate. From the two rooftop "miradores" there are beautiful views of Sucre and surrounding...

Excellent location and flawless attention to the architectural and decorative details. This makes the little attention paid to traveler's needs all the more disconcerting. A short list of shortcomings: having to wait 15 minutes (by clock) with the water running to get lukewarm water in the shower; no place to hang the hand towels near the sink (the hooks were...

This colonial style hotel has been implacably restored. Service is as friendly and as elegant as it can be. Breakfast is just great with fresh fruit, spread of breads and cakes, strong coffee and omelets to order. Will certainly return and highly recommend this place to friends and family.

If you appreciate style, architecture and an immaculately clean hotel, book Parador. The owner has newly renovated this property with the finest antiques and finishes. Wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit and omelettes made to order. Ideal location near the center of town. Can't wait to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We would probably give it a 4.5 rating. Beautiful building , well maintained with good roof top views. Great central location aswell. It also has a gym but we didn't use it. Plenty of space in our room including a writing desk. We only had breakfast but thought that was good with a nice...

The hotel is inside an old colonial house, really nice and peaceful place. We took the junior suites for three nights. The breakfast is good but not in the level of that type of hotel, especially the coffee, which was bad in my opinion. Inside the bathroom we had strong odor from the canalisation, that is another negative point, which...

Very nice hotel, in a histórical building, with the rooms around several patios with Classic colonial decor. Clean, confortable and well equipped rooms, although the bathroom needed some updates. The breakfast bufete was aceptable: a continental buffet of good quality but limited choice plus your preferid eggs. No restaurant in the hotel for dinner or lunch. Nice bar, a small...

The breakfast was delicious even though few waiters spoke English - we easily managed. The hotel was central but sadly as our room overlooked the road the traffic was bad all day - it did ease at night. There was a pleasant roof top terrace but nobody told us about it except Trip Advisor reviewers. Old fashioned decor but quite...
