When we arrived, tge inn keeper indicated that it was a good thing we didn't arrive a minute later, though we had agreed through email that our arival time would be between 6 and 7 pm. We arrived before that. But she said no one would have been there to recieve us if we hadn't arrived when we did because... More

We got in late around 9:30 pm. It was so nice that the owner waited up for us. We got to stay in the cottage house, which was very spacious for the three of us. The breakfast was amazing. So many different items to select from. The young adults on the trip especially enjoyed the fact that we had amazing... More

In my experience, hotels in Ann Arbor fall into two categories: perfectly ordinary hotels that are outrageously overprice, or reasonably priced hotels that seem like the set of a horror movie. I declared my independence from those two evils when I found the Stone Chalet B&B last year. It's now my go-to option. The Chalet itself is spacious, cool, and... More

Thanks for the nice review Mark! Just to let everyone know we just doubled our data and WiFi is faster and hopefully can handle more users as Comcast says it can. We have a cell phone mini tower/booster here waiting to be installed in the Parsonage where seven of the guest rooms are so hopefully this will help with phone... More

This B&B is extremely cool and we had a comfortable stay. The food was very good and we had a satisfying breakfast. The owners live there. A young man and his friend were in the common living area where the tv is sleeping and playing the guitar. The lady that runs the place is a bit socically awkward but tries... More

We enjoyed our recent overnight stay at the Stone Chalet Bed & Breakfast. We were in the Provincial room in the parsonage. It is a fascinating structure and we enjoyed the brief history of the building the owner shared with us. Our room was cozy, clean, quiet and comfortable. The wi-fi in our room was good enough for us to... More

We recently stayed at the Stone Chalet, and hosted an event as well. It was very clean and homey. The house has character, and it can be quite a maze finding your way around until you get the hang of it. The owner has a cat and dog, both of which are very friendly. The event room was large and... This is a fabulous place to both stay and have an event. The owners are attentive to your needs and the breakfasts are out of the world as well as very generous. Everything was top notch in all ways!!

Our family of 4 visited Ann Arbor for a night on a college exploration trip. This was the perfect place to stay! We booked the Cuckoos Room which was very comfortable for our family. We enjoyed learning about the inn from the owners who greeted us and showed us around the property. They were especially kind to allow our son... More

My boss and his partners have stayed at the Stone Chalet the past few years when they are in Ann Arbor attending ZingTrain classes. I found it by accident, just a online search, and he decided to try it because of the uniqueness of the property. Now he refuses to stay anywhere else! He always sends back pictures of the... More

This property is in a great location in Ann Arbor, especially close to UM. It's a unique property with lots of potential but needs a bit of updating. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean - although needed to have a few maintenance items tended to. The wifi was spotty and there was no way you could get... More

We certainly do agree with you that the property is unique and that the location is great. Being a Bed and Breakfast, it is also our family home and we do live in the Inn. There is one shared area and at any given time there could be a text book or a project from the kids or groceries that... More
