We stayed overnight with our 8 year old grandson. The pools and surroundings are excellent. Good number of lifeguards. There are a variety of shaded or sunny places to sit. There is a long covered water slide, but it does not detract. Lots of plants. Nice little poolside bar area. The room was very nice. There are choices of restaurants....

Fairmont Hot Springs was great! We went as a family and enjoyed soaking in the pools. It was very relaxing and we had great weather. The life guards were on the prowl and we felt very safe having our two year old there. My husband enjoyed the steam shower in the locker room. My favorite thing was the little zoo...

This yearly trip we chose to visit Fairmont Hot Springs Resort. We pretty much had a great time. The sparkling pools and the sunny weather were perfect. A little disappointed that they put away most of the lounge chairs too early. Or they should have brought them back out for the people to sit on. I think the hotel rooms...

Read a wide variety of reviews and so I wasn't all too sure what to expect. And I must say that the place exceeded my expectations. I understand why it is called a resort: they have the hot pools (which were very enjoyable) they have a spa, golf and both casual and fine dining (the latter is over priced). I...

I ordered a package at this resort for champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, breakfast, and roses. Specifically wrote on the reservation to let me know if they couldn't do the flowers as that was the most important part. It was our anniversary and I wanted the wow factor. We get to the hotel, and nothing. We don't even see the champagne...

We stayed one night at this hotel and that was more than enough. It is in the middle of nowhere and therefore styles itself as a resort - mostly, it would seem, because of its pool and water slide which probably make it good for families. For couples though there is little to commend it. The ground floor room that...

We were upgraded to the Presidential Suite that was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and the food was very good. Conference facilities had been upgraded sine we were there last and were very modern. Pools make a great place to socialize and relax.

After the few negative reviews, I was a little skeptical but we had a great time. The 1BR was real nice and upgraded on the 3rd floor a few rooms down from laundry facing west. Nice clean huge indoor and outdoor pools. Good food at the restaurant. I agree with other reviews that the slide should be free but did...

Our 12 year-old daughter would rate the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort five stars based on the pool alone, but overall with an eye to the total package, we felt the experience was very good. The resort itself is a bit dated, and some of the fixtures and room details (paint in the bathroom) were showing their age, but it was...

We were part of an "Uncommon Journey's" Tour group that set this up for us (you might want want to look up that review in the Train Forum as it is not a tour group I'd recommend). The accommodations chosen for us the previous nights and as it turned out the following nights paled in comparison to the very decent...
