It was late, and we needed a place to stay. This quaint, rustic style motel was perfect for my family of 5. They had a larger room divided into 2 sections with 3 queen beds! Perfect. They had also just installed new TV. It was clean and the front desk clerk was very kind and helpful.

We stayed here on November 20th on our road trip to "no where". I had read about the Cozy Mountain Motel so I knew what to expect when we arrived. I had made the reservation before leaving Burns, OR the night before and when I called Cindy was so very friendly. She was going to visit family for the holiday...

My wife and I stayed here Friday November 18. We rated our experience as excellent. Although our room was "cozy" (small) it was perfect for our needs: a very comfortable queen bed, flat screen TV with Dish Satellite service, free wifi, nice frig, nice heater, microwave and an excellent shower. We were pleased to receive senior and cash discounts. Cindy...

The room was clean, and quiet. Everything in the room worked. They tell you upfront that there is not much wifi bandwidth, but 5 minutes after I logged on, it stopped working entirely. I got to Austin after they had rolled up the sidewalks, so there was nothing to do outside the room. The room was fairly small with no...

Very cozy place, very small rooms, very clean, very attractive grounds, not quite very good wifi but it works, very good value - simply put we were very pleased to stay here. It's a very good place to stay if you find yourself overnighting in Austin.

We stayed at the Cozy Mountain Motel while traveling along Rt.50 (the Loneliest Road). I was checking out hotels along the road the day before we left California because I wasn't sure if we'd have cell phone reception for me to book something along the way. As it turns out, the 3 properties listed in Austin were motels you had...

Cindy runs this small motel singlehandedly and does a fine job. Yes, the rooms are rather compact and the Wifi did not work too well, but the place is attractively decorated inside and out. There is even a cherry tree to pick right alongside the office. She had advised that restaurant selections were slim in this town, so since I...

I was told to "lower my expectations" when staying at the Cozy Mtn Motel. Well...my expectations were exceeded (for a small motel in almost the middle of nowhere)!!! First off, Clean, clean!!! The bed was EXCELLENT - a queen - big and fluffy mattress. Charmin toilet tissue! I can't even find this in an HIE. Kleenix tissue as well. Esa...

It's like staying at an Aunt's house. You can pull up and park right in front of your room. There are chairs on the porch for sunset viewing. The owner is very personable and makes you feel right at home. I would definitely stay here again if I ever find myself in the middle of Nevada.

This is a wonderful cheery motel located in the middle of Austin Nv. (the town it self is tiny and tired) The owner is friendly, helpful and kind. The rooms are a decent size and were very clean with microwaves and mini fridges. Book ahead as it was full the whole time we stayed there.
