Since changing hotel names and to a different price point, the quality has suffered. Smelled like smoke. The AC didn't work in my room, so I had to change rooms. No big deal, but the bedding was old and there were someone else's clothing in my closet.. I kid you not.. My business partner's room was unlocked when we went back to the hotel a few hours after checking in.. Maybe it was never locked, i'm not sure, but it was certainly open when we got there. If you're desperate it's not terrible, but I won't be staying there again. Also, staff or guest were not masked for COVID time. No protocols listed either. Not ok.
Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Lady tending the buffet breakfast was very nice and did a great job. The bed clothes were clean and comfortable. Upon entering our room, found a pair of prescription glasses in a holder on the floor and food crumbs on the seat and arms of the desk chair indicating that the room was really not properly cleaned. The pool amenity should be removed from the list of those available. The pool is dirty, the coping is "repaired" with tape that is falling off, the pool deck apparently has not been cleaned in a year. The floor of the pool is slimy making one wonder if anyone has ever checked the pH levels. The rescue ring found at most pools was so tangled up in the rope and fence surrounding the pool it would not be useful. In the lower parking lot, construction debris that should be taken to a dump is sitting just outside the pool area. While the staff appear to be doing an OK job, ownership management doesn't appear to care!…
This hotel is in need of some attention and care. In our room there were loose tiles in the bathroom, rips in the curtains, the wallpaper had been ripped and repaired multiple times, the beds were uncomfortable and the best my family had to say about this hotel was "At least there is hot water." The breakfast was ... OK. It was school cafeteria food with powdered eggs, the cheapest type of sausage and warehouse pastry. We will not be returning, especially knowing of all the other nice hotels in the area.
Provided what I needed - a place to stay the night. The hotel was clean, the staff was very nice, there was plenty of parking and the AC in the room was fine. A basic, although a bit aging, place to stay. The Route 104 cafe near by is a greet place for breakfast.
I booked a room that was listed as 2 Queen beds for my family of four (including two teens). The beds are clearly full size (double) beds, not queen. Not very comfortable for two people. Listing should be accurate. False advertising!
Honestly my stay at this hotel was pretty horrible. Upon checking in we were assigned to a room that clearly had not been cleaned and had to go back to front desk to request a new room. After being in new room for around 30 minutes, we heard someone trying to get into the room with a key card. Thank god we locked the door from inside or else someone would have walked into our room. We opened the door and it was another couple who said they also got assigned to this room. They went back to the front desk and requested a new room. It was pretty scary and shocking that someone could have easily walked into our room like that. Additionally, the towels had brown spots on them as well as the pillow cases. Would not recommend this hotel.
Hotel could use some upgrades, but it was ok. Check in was quick. Our room was right off the lobby but quiet enough. Our room was clean but the carpet really was quite gross. You did it really want to take your shoes off to walk around. Bathroom was clean, bed was comfy. Breakfast was minimal, with bagels and other bread products, with oatmeal. Hot water and coffee, with fruit available. Fine stay for being off the highway and close to lots of attractions.
Not sure why things weren't more up to snuff, but it struck me that the management wasn't putting their best effort into maintaining the property. The pool was definitely dirty and had a nasty dark ring around it and cigarette butts were quite noticeable as well. The room was better and the sleep quality was pretty good, but overall it was a disappointing stay.
Spent two nights here. Bed was comfortable and room clean, but this property could really use an update, is showing its age. It is convenient to the interstate, but parking is difficult if you are disabled, as there are only two disabled parking spots. Other parking is in a lower lot or across the road.
I made a reservation for a suite at this hotel. unfortunately upon arrival we discovered that it was a 3 story hotel with NO elevator. I have handicap issues where I am unable to do stairs. We were assigned a suite on the 3rd floor. When we asked to be moved to ground floor we were informed that there were no suites on that floor and that they could only give us a regular room....But at the full price of the suite. They refused to discount the room to the regular room rate (they had already run our credit card). They absolutely refused to refund our money and when we asked to see manager were informed that none was available.
